WEEK 6
Good morning, passengers. Happy Sunday. Happy New Year.
Three more of your number gone - or four, depending on your point of view. But regardless, you're down three bodies. The boat is getting less crowded, week by week. A loneliness only exacerbated by yet another new floor, and yet another section of topdeck. There are almost too many facilities for you to use by now, aren't there? And yet the amenities keep on coming. One of them is even personalized, this time, and perhaps not in a way you're fully comfortable with.
Who knows, maybe if your number falls enough, you'll be able to just exist permanently on the different floors. Might keep you out of the trial room for more than a week.
Are you at the point where you'd settle for that yet?
And if you look to the horizon, out in the distance... there are clouds starting to gather on the horizon this week.

W-Well, it doesn't really matter why this is here. I dunno, maybe actually trying not to pay attention to what he's trying to do is the way to handle this. You know, refuse to acknowledge whatever intentions he has.
[And the way to do that would be to...play minigolf? Maybe? Would that be a little too forced? It'd be a little odd if people suddenly started developing an interest in minigolf, maybe playing would make it seem like they're trying too hard not to care?

Hey, your course must be nearby. Have you taken a look at it yet? Overall they seem pretty harmless, just places that we know, nothing too horrible. Although, uh...if you haven't looked at it maybe I could do it first before you do, just in case. Jack's in charge, you can never lower your guard and take for granted it'll be harmless, so if it looks like anything that designed to hurt you, I could warn you about it.
[Clearly Filbo hasn't stepped on his own course and discovered the ominous trove of googly eyes it's built on if he thinks all these courses are harmless stuff, hah]

Thankfully, it isn't too far off! It doesn't take her long to spot it at all; the brightly glistening castle is illuminated from within, made entirely from stained...well, it's more like stained plastic than stained glass, but it's close enough. It's surrounded by a water hazard with water flowing gently into it from some of the other holes, and it's elevated, requiring the ball to be hit up a ramp and through the doors. Where it comes out is a little harder to find, but there's a narrow tunnel made out of what looks like interwoven trees, branches braided together to form a loose knotted canopy above. The tunnel comes out into an area far darker in color, dotted here and there with gently glowing mushrooms and trees with knotted branches that contain orbs lighting the path to the ending hole. Another castle stands nearby, this one dark in color with windows lit from inside by some sort of purple glow; there aren't any depictions of people on either landscape, but there are figurines of a pair of creatures of some sort near the darker castle - they look like some sort of extremely fancy ibex, obviously different from one another but still clearly related in some way.]
...It's admittedly kinder than I expected.

[The contrast is quite curious. He doesn't have to guess it's meant to represent two realms, given how different both castles are -- and from Freyja's descriptions of the realms it really feels like this is it all in a nutshell. Filbo looks rather pleased about it all, and then he sees the figurines.
Doesn't take long for him to look right at Freyja's horns. Aha]
I'm guessing I didn't have to wait until you got your powers back to see that form you were talking about.
[Which means the other is...hm. So this is Freyr. Possibly. Finally he has a face to associate to the name, even if that face is a creature's]

It would seem so! The other one is Freyr; we could choose to look like that, or something closer to human, like I am now. ...His horns weren't nearly that large when he was more like this, though he did still have them.

Honestly they're really pretty forms. I dunno, they feel imposing but at the same time they're kinda beautiful!
[And that's without he knowing about the size, hah. If he was aware they'd tower over him he'd be positively stunned, hah]

Though it is a bit strange to see my own. It's not something I'd ever given a lot of thought to, but I'd never really paid much mind to what it looks like to other people.

Is it strange? To just...change from a form to one that's entirely different? I mean, there really aren't any similarities other than, uh, the horns. And even those have gotten all big in this other form.

It certainly feels different, being in one form over another, but I wouldn't say it feels strange. Both ways of existing have their benefits and their drawbacks, but they both feel like myself - I don't really think of one or the other as being less "me", nor do I find either form difficult to adapt to. It's just different.
I do miss being able to go back and forth as I please, however.
