Three more of your number gone - or four, depending on your point of view. But regardless, you're down three bodies. The boat is getting less crowded, week by week. A loneliness only exacerbated by yet another new floor, and yet another section of topdeck. There are almost too many facilities for you to use by now, aren't there? And yet the amenities keep on coming. One of them is even personalized, this time, and perhaps not in a way you're fully comfortable with.

Who knows, maybe if your number falls enough, you'll be able to just exist permanently on the different floors. Might keep you out of the trial room for more than a week.

Are you at the point where you'd settle for that yet?

And if you look to the horizon, out in the distance... there are clouds starting to gather on the horizon this week.

[well, as usual the easiest place to hide things is under tables, so let's check out the poker and roulette tables first!]

[ The slot machines are all Jack/Hyperion-themed, but one of them seems a little glitchy, maybe? ]

[well, he'll just take a closer look at that; unless there's anything sticking out or any obvious problems, maybe he'll just pull the lever and see what happens!]

[ Boop boop boop boop! That's close enough to slot machine noises, right?

Anyway, something drops out of the machine. ]

[i mean, whatever have we rolled from the gacha this time?]

[ It looks like some kind of... weird futuristic cassette tape kind of thing? ]

[is there anything in the room or elsewhere that i can't remember that resembles a weird futuristic cassette player, because otherwise he's gonna pocket that until the inevitable meeting]

[ Nothing super obvious, but it might be worth looking around the room a little bit more before giving up on it! ]

[if i were a cassette player, where would i hide??? He'll walk around for a bit giving the entire room a careful once-over, looking over the automatic roulette a little more closely since he hadn't yet totally covered that part.]

[If all else fails, he'll poke his head into the shitty arcade prize room just in case.]

[ While he's going through the room, he'll actually find something... weird? There's this motion-activated... holographic Jack. What a dick. ]

[Buuut he's willing to bet there's an eject button on whatever this charming display's recorded on, so let's take a good look at that base and probably start hitting buttons.]

[ There is indeed an eject button! And a tape quite like the one you just found pops out. ]

[well he'll just take that and consider smashing it for the catharsis later, but for now let's just pop this mystery sucker in there and hit the big ominous button!]

[The stand flares to life, digitizing a life-sized Handsome Jack right before Lelouch’s eyes.

And then it starts talking.]

Welcome to the casino room! A much smaller, compact version of my gigantic space casino! But don’t worry, you’ll still lose a lot of money here! All while being able to listen to fifteen whole holographic recordings of yours truly.

[The hologram stills, but doesn’t vanish. Jack’s head turns off to the side.]

That it? Perfect. Hate doing these things.

Huh? Yeah, we’re getting them done today. Let’s just hurry this recording up, okay dumb-dumbs? I’ve got a ritual I need to finish-

[Hologram Jack breaks into shining pieces of binary and sinks back into the platform. Looks like that’s it.]
