WEEK 6

Good morning, passengers. Happy Sunday. Happy New Year.

Three more of your number gone - or four, depending on your point of view. But regardless, you're down three bodies. The boat is getting less crowded, week by week. A loneliness only exacerbated by yet another new floor, and yet another section of topdeck. There are almost too many facilities for you to use by now, aren't there? And yet the amenities keep on coming. One of them is even personalized, this time, and perhaps not in a way you're fully comfortable with.

Who knows, maybe if your number falls enough, you'll be able to just exist permanently on the different floors. Might keep you out of the trial room for more than a week.

Are you at the point where you'd settle for that yet?

And if you look to the horizon, out in the distance... there are clouds starting to gather on the horizon this week.

Assuming the A is still part of that, then that could be rearranged to spell CALYPSO... Anything else to note about this section here?]

Well, a couple things happen! First up, the paint from these particular holes on the course forms into a triangle! Second, the water feature in the middle of the room starts draining, forming a whirlpool as it does! ]

[The Bermuda Triangle, presumably! And ooh, that seems promising - he's going to remain here and watch it so he doesn't have to get wet, but does it look like there's anything down there as it drains?]

[ It's definitely recognizable as such, if he's seen any images of it!

As it drains, it looks like there's some stairs on the side, if he wants to go down and take a look. Nothing immediately obvious, though, following the Dramatics. ]

[He's been through the relevant books in the library, at least!!

Anyway, stairs! That sounds interesting, of course he's going to go down to take a look. Where do these lead?]

[ The floor of the water feature is still damp, and still stained a little blue because By God, This Was Authentic Mini Golf Park Water, but there are a couple things of note! First is a spiral pattern leading to the center, where the water seems to have drained into the base of a model of an island. ]

[why was the water fake blue........ who would do this and why........ real mysteries we will not be able to solve on this boat.......

Is the spiral pattern just sort of built into the structure here, or does it look like something that was added in? As for that island... what's that looking like?]

[ the keepers of mini-golf are more devious than any murdergame mastermind....

It looks like it was maybe carved into the floor of the artificial lake? And the island is... well, a classic sort of deserted jungle island, apart from the dock and stone tower. ]

[Ooh, interesting! How big is this model, and what's up with the dock and stone tower? Are there more switches to be found here??]

[ No switches, but there is a candle wick in an enclosed space at the top of the tower? ]

[Huh... Alright, give him a moment to go find something to light it (we have matches somewhere, right???) and then he'll be back! Is this going to reveal something once lit?]

[ There's matches somewhere on this boat for sure.

Once lit, a mechanism inside whirs to life! Firstly the light gets very bright (and also green?), which shows that this is in fact some kind of lighthouse, but then there's a click somewhere inside and a small door opens on the side. ]

[Huh... Maybe this means something, but more importantly - what's in that small door?]

[ Nothing you can take away, tragically, but it looks like a model of a room full of gold and jewels! ]

[Damn, no keys... But hmm, that's interesting! Is there anything else to find in this area? Also because I forgot to clarify earlier - will the water stay drained here? And is this model able to be moved or is it stuck here?]

[ This is it, but just to wrap up: the model can't be moved, but the water will stay drained so long as the appropriate switches are on and will re-drain if they're set back to this position! ]
