Good morning, passengers. Happy Sunday. Happy New Year.

Three more of your number gone - or four, depending on your point of view. But regardless, you're down three bodies. The boat is getting less crowded, week by week. A loneliness only exacerbated by yet another new floor, and yet another section of topdeck. There are almost too many facilities for you to use by now, aren't there? And yet the amenities keep on coming. One of them is even personalized, this time, and perhaps not in a way you're fully comfortable with.

Who knows, maybe if your number falls enough, you'll be able to just exist permanently on the different floors. Might keep you out of the trial room for more than a week.

Are you at the point where you'd settle for that yet?

And if you look to the horizon, out in the distance... there are clouds starting to gather on the horizon this week.

I have no idea how relevant this is to literally anything, but the mirror maze is a bit off. It rearranges itself after an hour, which does not strike me as particularly strange; after all, if it has been solved, that means it is no longer a challenge.

The thing that is strange is after a certain point, my reflection began to lag behind my movements while taking on a green glow. I did not feel strange in any way, personally, but it was a touch unsettling.

It certainly is. I wonder if it has to do with the time distortion in our area?

Maybe.

I can't think of what else it could be. Some sort of magic?

It could be some sort of illusion, I suppose. That might explain it.

Perhaps if it comes up more often we will be able to determine what all is going on there...

Maybe we need to test it with multiple people there? See if there's some way to overwhelm whatever's making it work.

Perhaps, yes. Though, I do wonder if it is even all that important...

It probably isn't. Just another thing it's off about this place to add to the list.

Perhaps we will see if it ends up having anything to do with potential other supernatural happenings.

There is a saying about mirrors. That they are windows to other dimensions.

Though whether that is true here remains to be seen; the same goes if it has, as you've said, has something solely to do with time distortion.

True enough. I would think that there would be more incongruities with my reflection than it simply acting slower if it was evidence of another dimension, though...

There weren't any signs of sapience from the reflection?

I will admit the thought occurred to me, but if it was some sort of otherworldly presence, it did not give off any tells other than being particularly slow.
