WEEK 6
Good morning, passengers. Happy Sunday. Happy New Year.
Three more of your number gone - or four, depending on your point of view. But regardless, you're down three bodies. The boat is getting less crowded, week by week. A loneliness only exacerbated by yet another new floor, and yet another section of topdeck. There are almost too many facilities for you to use by now, aren't there? And yet the amenities keep on coming. One of them is even personalized, this time, and perhaps not in a way you're fully comfortable with.
Who knows, maybe if your number falls enough, you'll be able to just exist permanently on the different floors. Might keep you out of the trial room for more than a week.
Are you at the point where you'd settle for that yet?
And if you look to the horizon, out in the distance... there are clouds starting to gather on the horizon this week.

Any work that needed to be done around the manor I always had my employees handle... or I paid someone to do it, which was usually the better option.
[Surprisingly, assassins are not great at repair work!! Who would have guessed.
Anyway, here we are, and Yeager will waste no time in taking a seat on the floor and getting to work unpacking one of these!!]

While his handiwork isn't 100% perfect, he sure seems to be handling it better than he usually does things. He did do smaller projects by himself on this ship, after all -- the confetti-filled party balls from ages ago being one of them. Smaller crafting things, simple enough. A nightstand is definitely difficulty tiers above them all, but he's really evaluating properly what piece goes with what]
You know, it's been a long while since I tried anything like this. Last time were the cottages in Snaxburg, and that was just general maintenance. I don't think I'd have tried to assemble these if you hadn't thought of it.

[This is undoubtedly going to turn into Yeager sorting the pieces and handing over whichever ones Filbo needs, but you know what, we're probably accomplishing something!!]
It's something to do with your hands, and it takes up a good amount of time. I find things like that quite helpful when I need a distraction!
[Though he usually just goes out and fights things, which obviously isn't going to happen on this ship.]

[Handling the screws is more difficult, but that's mostly because those and most tools are a tad smaller than he's used to -- the woes of your species having these big fluffy paws. Still, he can manage]
I know, right? I just...had a lot going on in my head, and I urgently needed a distraction. Already completed the minigolf, the videos from the TV in the Teen Zone are starting to get a little repetitive, the lazer tag may be a lost cause? For a few reasons? Maybe I should try to play the piano, if nobody minds somebody making horrible noises with the piano for a few days? Hahahaha!
[Pretty much the only place he doesn't want to approach is the rollercoaster and that's because he has zero trust on using that on this ship. Careening off the cruise and straight into the sea is not in his plans for the future, thank you very much]

There isn't anything wrong with learning something new! And if Magica gives you a hard time, just ignore her.
[Magica is perfectly fine in his book, but she's also the most likely to be rude, so!!]
But I can understand that - sometimes you need to find something new to do! We can at least work on these for today, and if you need help finding something new to do tomorrow, perhaps we can try DDR!

Magica isn't so bad when you catch her in a good mood! She's still pretty awful and she probably will try to kill us all but she's not bad conversation and she's not afraid of doing whatever she wants, and her magical skills are really interesting. I can appreciate that.
[There goes Filbo, defending her while also criticizing her in the same breath. Of course, hah]
I'd give that a try. I already played DDR in Plumeria in easy mode and she beat me, and I still haven't gotten over her Strabby's score, so that's...not a good sign of my overall dancing skills -- but if you wanna challenge me I'll take it.
[B.B. is a prodigy and fueled by chocolate, how can you beat that]

I had quite a few difficulties with it at first as well, but Scott taught me a few things that have made it easier! It's one of those games that really can be conquered with enough practice and dedication - plus a little physical activity is perfect to tire you out!
[It's an excellent way to get your mind off of less-than-pleasant thoughts too, of course.]

I have been in that arcade a few times more, but it was to play other things. Sara, she--she left me a letter...with a lot of tips to get good at something we had been playing. I couldn't just not use them if she took the time to write me with those...

[Assembling the dreaded Ikea furniture has to stop at some point. Unfortunately, given the lack of instructions, assembling it in as little time as an hour or two probably is impossible, but getting it 3/4 done is nothing short of miraculous, really]
...okay, that's enough for now. Not bad progress, at all, for something that doesn't even tell you what goes with what!
