Another week, another three gone in the case alone, not to mention Chloe earlier in the week. Even as you gain access to another floor, the ship by now must be starting to feel more empty than ever. It's been a long time by now, approaching two months.

Where do you think you'll be, in two months more time?

The clouds have begun to gather around the ship, this week.

[For a moment Filbo's expressions sours. Oh, boy, that was something he hadn't thought about at all. Wow, now he can't look at the places the same way]

Better don't mention that possibility around here. It's not that I'm gonna try to tell anyone not to, but that's gonna get a few of us to start breaking things.

[ He's the moody kill jester. This was clearly why he was originally roomed with Sylvando. To balance them out. ]

I imagine anyone trying to break anything at this time is a waste of time, but I suppose I do see your point.

[Pfft hah, that's true. Someone had to balance Sylvando's cheer, Risotto may have been the only one who could. That's kind of great]

We all probably have a lot more to do than the Captain does, anyway. All he probably does all day is have to watch us mess around, maybe spy on our conversations...

[And wait for people to die. Jack must be bored out of his mind sometimes, really]

...As annoying as it is to give him credit for being anything that's remotely competent, I have reason to believe he's doing more than that, at the very least.

[ While he's sure Jack wouldn't necessarily have a jam-packed schedule, he wouldn't be surprised if he was up to some other...things in his 'spare time'. ]

Really? What kinda stuff? I mean, the more we get the less stuff he can be doing, and anyone can now barge into his office so anyone who goes in should be able to notice if he's up to something, right?

[Apparently the thought that Jack may have more areas for himself than just a relatively small hideout in the whole ship doesn't cross Filbo's mind]

[ Luckily, Risotto was here to be a reminder of that and other things, of course. ]

We don't have full access to the rest of the ship, Filbo. Just because 'anyone' can barge into his office doesn't mean that they'd discover what else he's up to. Nevermind the fact he's forcing someone to do his bidding...and so with that in mind, we should keep in mind the obvious conclusion that our so-called captor is doing something else.

It'd be good if we did, since it also assists with ensuring we don't underestimate him, and prevents the presumption that he's not doing other things to help further his plan.

[Filbo sighs. He has to admit everything Risotto says...makes sense, really. A lot of sense]

...that's...right, I suppose? W-Well, I guess that if the heart is anywhere on the ship and it's not right there in his office then it's somewhere else, anyway...

That was the question that floated his mind. But all the same, he wasn't going to give up and close himself to all options. ]

That'd be ideal. I'm not going to pretend that it's likely that's the case, but it's a valid possibility and enough reason for us to keep looking.
