WEEK 7
Good morning, passengers. Happy Sunday. Happy New Year.
Another week, another three gone in the case alone, not to mention Chloe earlier in the week. Even as you gain access to another floor, the ship by now must be starting to feel more empty than ever. It's been a long time by now, approaching two months.
Where do you think you'll be, in two months more time?
The clouds have begun to gather around the ship, this week.

SUNDAY | MONDAY | TUESDAY | WEDNESDAY | THURSDAY
[ ooc: Welcome to week 7, everyone! Remember to turn in AC here and coins for regains over here! If you wish to get in contact with the npcs, Davy Jones is over here, and The Captain is over here! And as requested, profiles are accessible here. ]

[Constantine lets out a snort, seeing Data standing like a fool in front of the elevator. He crosses his arms, tilting his head to the side.]
You want my advice? Just feed his ego. Seems to never shut up when you get him going about himself. The man's about as self-centered as one can get. Just the other day, when I spoke to him, he thought I was flirting with him.
[To be fair, Constantine...was complimenting him a lot to try and get him to talk, so it only worked out in his favor, but....]
no subject
[He says, because really what part of his whole thing makes it seem like he's out here lying to stroke other peoples' egos a bunch. But that's not really what he was considering, anyway:]
I am running calculations. All things being equal, I believe there is a reasonable chance that I could reach and immobilize him before he could disable me.
[data no you're supposed to be the anti-chloe]
no subject
Are you daft? All things are very much not equal, and I'd hope that you'd know that by know.
[Constantine scowls. His tone is surprisingly severe as he speaks.]
Regardless of what you do, the moment you step into that elevator, Jack'll be on alert. And even if he doesn't disable you, he'll get Jones to do it for him.
no subject
But it may still be worth the risk. I can move much faster than a human, and I do not think Jones would act if not compelled.
[just get convive data in here to run up and snap jack's neck]
no subject
As much as I'd love to see you try and snap this bloke's neck and end things, for all we know, he probably has some sort of...of stupid clone...body double thing.
[don't tell constantine about timothy lawrence he'd go and fistfight jack immediately]
Besides, since we've been chatting about this out in the open, he probably'll know to get ready.

[Constantine has several good points, though...]

[A pause. A small smirk worms its way onto his face--the telltale sign that he's just come up with a good argument and there's no way he's not going to use it.]
Why, what would dear Spot think?
no subject
You make several good arguments.
Nonetheless, I have been thinking a great deal about what Freyja said. She was incorrect. It was not her failings that have resulted in the deaths on this ship, but my own. I would like for that to change.
no subject
And now you're following in the footsteps of someone who's now dead. Fantastic.
[He snorts, shaking his head.]
We could stand here all day and debate about how each of us could've, should've, would've, but I don't think any of us could have foreseen or prevented shit. But if you want to and get yourself killed, then don't let me stop you.
no subject
[It really isn't debatable that he has failed, greatly, every single week since the third. But - okay, that sounds like a dismissal.]
Very well.
no subject
What's gotten into you, anyways? Why is now the week that you've decided that you've failed?
no subject
no subject
I see.
[Constantine falls quiet again, rubbing the back of his neck.]
And now that Jack's closer than ever, you want to take matters into your own hands, or die trying. It's kind of a stupid bet to make.
[don't tell constantine about the end of nemesis....]
no subject
I do not know if I can justify placing my own well-being above that of the others on this boat. At the very least, I have not been doing a great deal of that - Jack only recently became accessible.
