Another week, another three gone in the case alone, not to mention Chloe earlier in the week. Even as you gain access to another floor, the ship by now must be starting to feel more empty than ever. It's been a long time by now, approaching two months.

Where do you think you'll be, in two months more time?

The clouds have begun to gather around the ship, this week.

Or the little time pocket we've been contained in is starting to rip at the seams. Either way! Freyja mentioned something the blue one, Chloe, told her about... time travel gone wrong? Don't really recall.

[ The fact that she bothered to add Chloe's name means she must be trying to be nice. The reasons for this are clarified when she asks: ]

It is. If what we are dealing with is a disturbance in the fabric of space-time, the negative ionic clusters might eventually collect and result in extreme weather patterns.

Although I would have expected it to begin forming at the center of the rift, rather than the edge.

But it's so much more ominous this way. [ HMMMMMMM ] Well, we are in a liminal space that makes these resets possible. Couldn't the rift have originated on the triangle's border and sort of... gravitated towards the reason it exists?

I suppose it is possible.

[Most things are!]

I would believe it was done solely to be ominous, if the Captain were responsible. That seems like the sort of thing he would do.

Maybe so. But in that case, where's the inevitable cumuloid abomination that looks like his face?

[ Multiple lairs that look like your face: classic, artful, intimidating. Clouds that look like your face: unacceptable. ]

It would be more impactful if it formed directly over us.
