Another week, another three gone in the case alone, not to mention Chloe earlier in the week. Even as you gain access to another floor, the ship by now must be starting to feel more empty than ever. It's been a long time by now, approaching two months.

Where do you think you'll be, in two months more time?

The clouds have begun to gather around the ship, this week.

It really is.

[Filbo lets go of Flayn. Even though Flayn says she'll stay in her room, what if something happens and she doesn't? It wouldn't be the first time someone dies and there's something he wanted to do with them and now wouldn't have the chance anymore.

...perhaps he should do it now. Death already brings regrets, if he can avoid having one more then perhaps it'd help take it easier]

Since my room is right there do you want to see that photo I mentioned? The one from home! I told you I'd show it to you, right?

[You can be sure if Filbo was more cynical he'd think of this as proof Flayn probably wouldn't stay in her room safe and sound, look how she's lured somewhere on Thursday night, geez, Flayn, hah!]

I hope it'll be up to expectations!

[Filbo opens the door to his room wide open so Flayn comes in and points at his desk, still with a leg placed over the junk compartment on the floor. There on the desk is a photo of a very colorful bunch of grumpuses]

There we are! That's from when I got elected. I think I don't have to say which one is me!

[Flayn comes to look and-

Grumpuses are so colorful! And they are all furry! And they all look very friendly and nice and happy that Filbo's the mayor!]

Are these the friends you made on the island you went to?

They are! Most of them are right there! One's behind the camera, but other than that, this is everybody I met there.

[He sounds so fond of them. It's a good thing he has a photo to remember them by, he'd be far more homesick if he didn't]

[Flayn marvels at the picture for a moment before...biting her tongue, it seems. Not in the accidental way that hurts, but more in the soft way that one might do to keep themselves from saying something that might not be too great to say.

"I hope I can meet them someday."]

...They seem lovely.

I think they really are! Well, nowadays we all kinda get along better than we did before, so that's gotta count for something. Kinda reminds me of us here on the boat, but...somehow on the island we had more in-fighting but zero murder.

[Hilariously enough, other than Freyja's outburst the denizens of this murdercruise probably could be said to have gotten along better than everyone while on Snaktooth. It's quite the thought]

It must have taken some time for you all to come together, just like here. We began our journey as strangers, and now, we are not so strange to each other.

[ahelpingpaw]

That's true, we're all here...friends? For the most part. [Making it even more depressing everyone's still having to kill each other] ...despite everything I am glad I got to meet you all. It's been nice.

[And enlightening in a few ways, too. Really, so many people on this boat has led to his own character development]

...I do not regret a moment I have spent here. Truly.

[Even when it has been sad, or difficult, or she has been ashamed of her behavior.]

And for however long I have left, I will treasure the bonds I have made, and I will not forget any of you. Even if we escape and must part for good, or...something else happens.

We'll all return home. And even if we don't, at least we'll have each other.

[It's possible even if they defeat Jack they'll be stuck on this world, really, but if that happens they'll have to stick around with each other until a plan happens. Really, Filbo is aiming for anything that seems even remotely positive -- anything that doesn't involve everyone dying]

If that were the case, I do so hope we can stay together. It would be...frightening, to continue alone.
