SEVENTH TRIAL
[ After a while, Davy Jones comes and collects you all again. It's a much quicker trip than he's ever had to take for you all before. You all fit so easily into the elevator in the theatre now, don't you?
As he plays the song that takes you down, even Jones seems tired. But the elevator certainly isn't, moving just as dramatically into the depths of the ship as it ever has. You now know all the floors it passes on its trip down to the trial room, don't you?
And none of you even know that this is your last ride down. The end is coming. But that's for later, and not quite yet for all of you.
The crew of the Dutchman is... different, somehow, this week. There are more figures aboard, and they're all singing, well. Maybe Scott was right, that first week. ]
Ye know what to do, passengers.
[ Jones moves to the wall to look out at his ship, scowling.
The podiums are waiting.
Welcome to your seventh trial.

[Doesn't make sense, he tried to say but couldn't bring himself to. He's having a really hard time reconciling this with everything he knows and thinks of Constantine]

[But even as he says this, even as he talks about Jasper, he seems unsure.]

[He's so looking at him as if he's going to find by staring at him an inkling this isn't all what it seems at first glance. He sees John being unsure, but doesn't know how to interpret it]

Filbo, have you ever been to a magic show? There's a sort of unspoken word that whatever you do, you don't subject the audience to any sort of threat of danger.
[He wouldn't purposely put someone under harm. Not without them knowing about what he was about to do.]

[Well that's as unsubtle as Reika got. Unsubtle enough for Filbo to try to look past the cloud of emotions and encompassing sense of betrayal he feels at the thought of Constantine killing someone and making them go through a trial. Without anything that looks immediately off like it had been with Reika's knife and Freyja's motive, he really fell into his emotions -- already a little on edge from all these days of hallucinations. Probably speaks volumes of how convincing Constantine made things.
For someone who would like to think is capable of looking past the painful things, he does seem to have some difficulty when it's about friends]
...you--we--you--you meant it all, right? Everything we talked for two months?

Every word.
[He seems honest, at least.]
But I have to be in the right place to finish this.
no subject
[No matter what Constantine still can do that with no difficulty at all, hah.
But still, he stares at the podium until the time to vote comes]

I'm sorry it came to this, Filbo. You're still the best man out of us all here.
