It's easy to think, with how much... less this week's motive seems to be than the last, that perhaps nothing will happen. But then again, someone was poisoned yesterday, so perhaps you're already on edge. No one could blame you, in this place. Even on the brightest days, New Rapture is dark.

There's no blood in the elevator, at least, but... your radios are all pretty quiet, this morning.

After hearing the announcement, Hagakure comes over here to take a breather but the garden has been defiled again so that's not happening. What's going on here?]

[ Quite a few things! But if Rossiu has The Blood, then... there's something shiny over by the wall of the hotel? ]

[He'll happily take this over The Blood. Catching that shiny glint, he gets closer to see what it is!]

A knife! Specifically, one of the vending machine knives. There are traces of dried blood on it. Yikes. ]

Okay nevermind this sucks too, actually. But he'll find a way to secure it for the trial. Is it a good amount of blood? And is there anything else around in the immediate area, or was it pretty much just dumped here?]

[ Not a huge amount? There is something by it, though - a ripped piece of bloodstained black fabric. ]

[That's a clue if he's ever seen one! What's the size of the scrap, and is this stain also dry?]

[ It's relatively small, and the stain is dry, yes! It looks to have been torn off of something. ]

So with these bloody items dumped here, is there also any blood in the grass or on the ground over here? Or is this spot a relative distance away from, uh...the action.]

[ Nothing else here! It's a little bit away, yes. However, there's another little bit of Stuff closer to the action, though still a bit away from it. ]

[Well, there's a blood trail here so he might as well stop in and check that out. How does it look, exactly?]

[ The blood trail stretches pretty fully from a very Busy area of the garden, all the way to the pool. Not really drips as though the body was carried, mostly it's long and standard drag marks. ]

[Hmm! From the size and shape of the drag marks, is it safe to assume that it was likely a body that was dragged or does this look like said marks could be from something smaller? Is there anything off about any part of the trail - like someone had to stop at some point or anything like that?]

[ There's nothing to suggest it wasn't the body, and no indication of a long stop for sure! There's a few small stops here and there, but like. Who among us has dragged a body perfectly smoothly, I ask you? ]

[DEFINITELY NOT HIM!!!! But no that's about what I was expecting and while Rossiu has exactly 0 experience with such a thing, that seems about right. A long pause would have a lot of blood pooled so this looks pretty consistent with someone dragging a body off to the pool to dump it, so!

Assuming someone else has the other end of the blood trail in the pool, he's going to head the opposite way back into the garden. So where does the trail start?]

[ That would be the big puddle of blood in the middle of a very messy section of the garden! You don't need to touch the ground to know that Something Happened Here. ]

[IT SURE DID, APPARENTLY. Okay, so where is this massive puddle of blood in the garden? Is is near where Hagakure found the knife? Did the killer drag Obi through most of the garden?]

[ It looks to be closer to the front of the hotel than the pool, but not too deep eastward into the garden, if that makes sense? The knife is a bit away from it, though there's something in the middle of the disturbed area as well. ]

[Yes, it does! Alright, so what exactly is this thing in the middle of the area? Can he get an idea of what it is from over here or is he going to have to go into the Danger Zone to retrieve it...]

[ He's gonna have to Go In, I'm afraid... though it's not like. Directly in the middle of the blood puddle, at least. ]
