Good morning, New Rapture. A new day is dawning.

Another week, another motive, another trial. Even without a literal time loop, it's easy to start to feel stuck in something of a rut. Though vandalism parties and the like can help shake the feeling somewhat, it's only natural to start going a little... stir-crazy, don't you think?

Fortunately for you, another week brings another new section of New Rapture to investigate. This one is the biggest yet! And look at that fun theme park. And a bar!

Seven of you are dead, but eighteen of you remain. What you do to try to escape is up to you, but at least following :)'s advice gets you coins for stuff, you know?

It does! It keeps everyone's morale up, and it's proven extremely helpful in low or difficult times.

I like to watch her practice sometimes. She's also... Well, she's very pretty...

[Like, she's definitely off-limits in a very "that is a friend of our parents'" sort of way, but Azura is hot and he has noticed.]

I imagine she would be quite captivating; performances like that often are.

Yes, extremely so.

Her son is a friend of mine; he's a good singer too, and he's very artistic. His paintings are beautiful; he painted me once, I still have it somewhere.

It's sort of nice to think about them again; I've been missing everyone lately.

What of your other friends? I'm assuming he's around your age - are there any others?

There are certainly others, though a good amount of them are family - I have four aunts and uncles, and several cousins. I've enjoyed getting to know them all; it's been interesting, going from a place where I was largely left alone to having so much family around all the time. I do like it quite a bit, though.

That certainly is a lot of family.

[It's sort of hard to imagine that many, actually!!]

I'm glad you've been enjoying it, though. What are they like?

My uncle Xander is the oldest, and next in line for the throne should something happen to my grandfather. He's stoic and kind of intimidating sometimes, but he really does mean well and he's not arrogant or thinking too highly of himself at all. He actually married one of the family's maids rather than a noblewoman or something, just because he loves her.

[Xander and Felicia are cute as hell, okay.]

My aunt Camilla is both very sweet and very scary. She rides a wyvern and she really enjoys going into battle. She loves us a lot, she's just also...somewhat a lot to handle?

[SHE'S A FUCKING HAZARD he loves camilla but oh my god.]

My uncle Corrin is the one currently leading the army we're all involved with. I think he was adopted? [FORREST, NO- ] He's a good man, even if he doesn't always make a lot of sense or understand things in the same way we do. He really does want the best for everyone.

And my aunt Elise is my favorite. She's a couple of years younger than me now, which is strange to think about, but she's really kind and a lot of fun to be around. She gives me her dresses sometimes, too, which is always really nice. She's really encouraging, and she's one of those people that just lights up a room, you know?

[forrest not understanding the plot of the first half of fates is very funny and i love it.]

They all sound like very vibrant and interesting people. It seems as though you've really settled in well with them. I can understand why you find Elise so charming; people like that are very rare and are always wonderful to get to know. I'd say you have a lot in common with her.

Oh... That's very kind of you to say! She's a wonderful person, and if I could be more like her that would only be a good thing.

You do a great job of keeping everyone's spirits up and of looking out for us - and I find it's much easier to feel at peace with you.

[Maybe it's not the exact same sort of brightness Elise brings, but it's a comforting one nonetheless, particularly in a place like this.]

...Thank you. I'm doing my best... I want to take care of the people that are important to me. That's all that matters right now.
