Good morning, New Rapture. A new day is dawning.

Another week, another motive, another trial. Even without a literal time loop, it's easy to start to feel stuck in something of a rut. Though vandalism parties and the like can help shake the feeling somewhat, it's only natural to start going a little... stir-crazy, don't you think?

Fortunately for you, another week brings another new section of New Rapture to investigate. This one is the biggest yet! And look at that fun theme park. And a bar!

Seven of you are dead, but eighteen of you remain. What you do to try to escape is up to you, but at least following :)'s advice gets you coins for stuff, you know?

I have been living with them for the better part of two centuries. We have had our squabbles, yes...

[ if this was still a documentary we would instantly cut to all the times these characters have physically attacked each other and screamed death threats ]

But, now that we are a month out, hearing their voices... kind of nice. Even if they do not have my favorite song here.

[ Nadja immediately wails, as if to prove his statement false. ]

What are they like? If you don't mind my asking.

I do not mind.

[ How to describe Nadja and Laszlo? He's still basking in the warm glow of mutual infatuation, and it's making him a lot more charitable, but it's still hard to do this in a positive fashion! He needs to think of this as one of those talking-at-the-camera segments the crew has them do. ]

Well, first off, they have been together for centuries. If they are not bickering, they are being a couple of perverts in everyone else's faces, and it's like, enough, we get it already! ... But they really do love each other. It can get difficult to be around, sometimes, and not just because they are making love in public.

Nadja is... passionate, and also very loud. She is from a little dirt island in the Mediterranean, [ he says, like he hasn't been to her village in a pillaging context, ] and she still, eh, clings to many of the old superstitions. Very bloodthirsty and decisive. Honestly, if it was her who was here, she would have acted weeks ago.

We have recently been working together as co-supreme rulers of the local vampiric council, and every time I make a decision she immediately turns around and undermines it!... but, I think she is trying very hard to be taken seriously, and I respect that. [ It's honestly miraculous that Nandor has managed to retain this much insight, and he only has it because Nadja has said as much while he was right there! ] She is the one who made Laszlo a vampire. He was some kind of nobleman in England, and she just flew into his window one night and [ okay forrest is a married man but maybe he should temper this a little ] turned... him. As for Laszlo...

Well, he has his fine qualities. He can be very charming, very well-educated and musical, a man of many talents... but also he does not do shit except pursue his own pleasures. Time after time I have asked him, Laszlo, will you help me with this important thing? And every time he is just, eh, [ this is nandor trying to do a matt berry voice and it is atrocious ] "I say, old bean, why don't you fuck off?" Constantly disrespecting my authority in the house. He is a lover, and Nadja the fighter, and most of the time they simply do not care about anyone or anything else.

[ He pauses, like he's taking inventory of what he's just said, and then shrugs. ]

... To be clear, if they were in my position right now, they would also be talking shit. And I do miss them, truly. They are just also very inconsiderate and a pain in my ass.
