Week 5
Good morning, New Rapture. A new day is dawning.
Another week, another motive, another trial. Even without a literal time loop, it's easy to start to feel stuck in something of a rut. Though vandalism parties and the like can help shake the feeling somewhat, it's only natural to start going a little... stir-crazy, don't you think?
Fortunately for you, another week brings another new section of New Rapture to investigate. This one is the biggest yet! And look at that fun theme park. And a bar!
Seven of you are dead, but eighteen of you remain. What you do to try to escape is up to you, but at least following :)'s advice gets you coins for stuff, you know?

[Brett's not too shaken up by his - at least, he's refusing to really consider it - so he'd better look in on the others. He comes closer, but doesn't quite reach out.]

[The noise is soft, more just a vague reaction to some sort of stimulus rather than something that actually means anything; he doesn't seem inclined to say anything else.]

[He glances back at his own screens - the people lost in a blizzard.]
They would know better than to walk out into a storm like that. They wouldn't even be looking for me at all anymore.
[There's no hurt or resentment there. It's been more than a month and it's winter; if Brett had been lost in the woods, he would have died within one or two days. He knows it, and so does everyone back home. Anyway, that isn't the point.]
If they sent out a search party that size, it would've been within a matter of days. And I know Peregrine's been okay since then. He brought in the hostages after a week. He's just trying to scare us.
[Anyway...he doesn't want to say it, but what's the point of a threat that's already happened?]
