WEEK 3

Well, the tail end of Week 2 could have gone better. That's the first thing to note.

The second thing is... hang on, should it be Week 3 yet? You've all gone to sleep (or... not, in the case of anyone who doesn't), but when you wake up (and you do all wake up), the calendar and clock on your device informs you that it's Sunday. In-character, all characters explicitly have absolutely no memory of Saturday.

Your sense of time isn't the only thing that's changed - a new branch of the facility has opened and become active overnight, giving you new resources and places to investigate, should you so choose. There's also a new channel on the television, though whether it's an improvement over the last one is questionable.

Otherwise, though, things have mostly settled into normalcy again, or at close to normal as you can find in this place. How long that peace will last, though... that's becoming increasingly uncertain, moving forward.

The hidden door in the room with the vending machine opened to a closet. Seems that's where cleaning supplies are kept. Materials for repairing things. Stuff like that.

That's it? Where was the machine humming coming from, then?

Sounded like the door itself, mostly. Some in the walls. But... I'm not convinced that's all there is to that space. Not yet.

[mouflon]

The walls... I guess that would make sense with my thought that there's some kind of current running through this facility to suppress magic and the like, but if that's the case, why wouldn't we be able to hear it everywhere? [ ... ] Maybe it's something to do with the locked room on the other side...?

Yeah. And it's suspicious that he locked it back up after letting me and Anna in. Like it was an entertainer's trick.

[mouflon]

Wait, he just let you in? Why?!

[bolderfell]

He didn't want me to break it.

[And we've all seen how happy Therion's been with that drill.]

So if we just told Jasper to punch more doors, we could have gotten things open this whole time?!

I'm sure not now. He did say he'd be harder on us at the motive today.

Ugh... I should have just taken some of the weights from the fitness room and thrown them at the doors while I still could...

[ She missed her chance!! Why!! ]

You could try. He only asked me not to. Didn't make any threats.
