WEEK 3

Well, the tail end of Week 2 could have gone better. That's the first thing to note.

The second thing is... hang on, should it be Week 3 yet? You've all gone to sleep (or... not, in the case of anyone who doesn't), but when you wake up (and you do all wake up), the calendar and clock on your device informs you that it's Sunday. In-character, all characters explicitly have absolutely no memory of Saturday.

Your sense of time isn't the only thing that's changed - a new branch of the facility has opened and become active overnight, giving you new resources and places to investigate, should you so choose. There's also a new channel on the television, though whether it's an improvement over the last one is questionable.

Otherwise, though, things have mostly settled into normalcy again, or at close to normal as you can find in this place. How long that peace will last, though... that's becoming increasingly uncertain, moving forward.

[ Della has some paper with her! It's a simple retelling of the Pandora myth, with all instances of Pandora's name and the mention of Hope at the end being underlined in red. See investigation. ]

Found this in the woodworking room. It was stapled to one of the chunks of wood, in storage. The whole place had some... The power tools didn't seem new. Not like they were old, but- gently used?

[ And- well, there's more, but she'll get to that. ]

[ Well... Mira definitely knows that myth. Interesting. ]

... Gently used? That's unlike the art room, where everything seemed so new and untouched...

I couldn't find anything say who manufactured them, either. It was weird consistency-wise, too. You notice only the drills are cordless? It was like someone's leftovers were there, instead of...like you said, all of it being new.

And...

And there was something else. Taped under the tables, there was a...well, it looked like some kind of Zip-loc? But it was empty. It was old, and open, and full of dust.

[ .... huh. ]

I haven't spent enough time there to notice, but--

An old and open bag? Nothing in there but dust... maybe someone took something from it recently.

[ She shakes her head. ]

Inside and out. It looked like it'd been there for a few months.

[ Months. Months. ]

Months?

[ She hates it too!

She hesitates for a moment, though. Della has some paper on her, and she quickly writes something before showing it to Mira.

Angel doesn't know of any other experiments like this he's conducted though

Well, there's that. ]

That's-- that's so long.

[ Ah, she glances at the paper, reading it quickly before she takes the paper and crumples it up. That? That is going in her pocket. Can't be too paranoid. ]

The more we find, the more questions I have....

Me too. But there's got to be something we can figure out.

She gets monitored with an earpiece, so the Professor can hear everything we talk about with her ]

I'd bet this place was used for something else before all this. Or at least...someone else was here before us.

[philoxenia]

[ Ah.

The second thing--she assumed that was the case, but it still bothers her. And it definitely worries her. ]

Do you... [ She hates to even think about it but... ] Do you think experiments like this happened before?

It's very possible. And that they'll happen again if we all get ourselves killed, until he gets what he wants.

[Something sounds hollow when Anna speaks, just for a second.]

...I don't think under him. But maybe under other people.

I'd hate to think that whoever's running this was crazy enough to do it more than once.
