WEEK 3

Well, the tail end of Week 2 could have gone better. That's the first thing to note.

The second thing is... hang on, should it be Week 3 yet? You've all gone to sleep (or... not, in the case of anyone who doesn't), but when you wake up (and you do all wake up), the calendar and clock on your device informs you that it's Sunday. In-character, all characters explicitly have absolutely no memory of Saturday.

Your sense of time isn't the only thing that's changed - a new branch of the facility has opened and become active overnight, giving you new resources and places to investigate, should you so choose. There's also a new channel on the television, though whether it's an improvement over the last one is questionable.

Otherwise, though, things have mostly settled into normalcy again, or at close to normal as you can find in this place. How long that peace will last, though... that's becoming increasingly uncertain, moving forward.

Why is it so easy to get the parts mixed up? It's more of a puzzle than anything.

Usually they should come with an instruction sheet of some sort. Apparently the Professor or whoever else stocks the machine decided that was unnecessary bulk. [She says that last part very sarcastically.]

Maybe he thinks it's a good mental exercise.

Or another way to frustrate us. But I bet your answer's the one he'd give if asked. I did work out some possible designs on paper before starting the actual building part, so I guess that counts as a "mental exercise."

He's annoying like that. I do wonder why all this trouble.

Wish we could ask him and get a straight answer, but he'll probably just be evasive as always.

He'll spend the entire time insulting us, too, and get nowhere. At least with Angel, she slips up and lets out more than she intended.

Yeah. Though honestly I think we'd have the most luck looking for more of those papers lying about.
