WEEK 3

Well, the tail end of Week 2 could have gone better. That's the first thing to note.

The second thing is... hang on, should it be Week 3 yet? You've all gone to sleep (or... not, in the case of anyone who doesn't), but when you wake up (and you do all wake up), the calendar and clock on your device informs you that it's Sunday. In-character, all characters explicitly have absolutely no memory of Saturday.

Your sense of time isn't the only thing that's changed - a new branch of the facility has opened and become active overnight, giving you new resources and places to investigate, should you so choose. There's also a new channel on the television, though whether it's an improvement over the last one is questionable.

Otherwise, though, things have mostly settled into normalcy again, or at close to normal as you can find in this place. How long that peace will last, though... that's becoming increasingly uncertain, moving forward.

[When Therion returns, it's with his own origami book and also some of the handmade paper the vending machine gives out.]

You can look at the way I fold it, if you want. Or unfold it so you can see how they line up.

[He says this as he sits, fans out his paper, and selects one not from the top, but from the middle of the stack. One with some of his handwriting on it.

Good to have something to do with ourselves, I guess. Today was...less than ideal.

[Therion's fingers pause briefly before continuing to fold.]

...No kidding.

That's not how I like to wake up in the morning.

I don't think most people like that.

[He shrugs.]

This whole situation isn't the first time I've seen people die. But it's not something I'm really crazy about waking up to.

...I'm used to death. And to unnecessary killing. But I've never seen anything like that... glass coming up from the floor. Or the sword made of light. Have you?

...Not anything like that. Usually if we're going to kill someone we do it the old-fashioned way. Knives and guns.

Afraid I'm not familiar with the latter.

Better that way, probably.

God, I hope not? I know we've gotten blunt objects and knives, as well as tasers of all things - has anyone shown you what those are?
