WEEK 3

Well, the tail end of Week 2 could have gone better. That's the first thing to note.

The second thing is... hang on, should it be Week 3 yet? You've all gone to sleep (or... not, in the case of anyone who doesn't), but when you wake up (and you do all wake up), the calendar and clock on your device informs you that it's Sunday. In-character, all characters explicitly have absolutely no memory of Saturday.

Your sense of time isn't the only thing that's changed - a new branch of the facility has opened and become active overnight, giving you new resources and places to investigate, should you so choose. There's also a new channel on the television, though whether it's an improvement over the last one is questionable.

Otherwise, though, things have mostly settled into normalcy again, or at close to normal as you can find in this place. How long that peace will last, though... that's becoming increasingly uncertain, moving forward.

Huh. Gods are real where you're from? Guess everywhere's different, but somehow gods being real people you can meet seems fantastical to me.

It did to me too, before I visited Ithaquack. It's a Greek godly vacation home. [ She gestures to the tapestry, and-- ] ...Kinda weird to see some friends up there.

People are always saying they're friends with gods, but to actually be friends with a god? I can't even imagine.

Ehh, I thought so too, but they're really good folks. Storkcules, Selene, they loved me and my brother. ...Their dad not so much, but he's an ego-maniacal jerk, so.

Well... We don't have any humans where I'm from. [ A beat. ] But he did turn from duck to big ol' horse with similar goals, so.

The things that are the same between different worlds. [She laughs, although it's more like breathing out that could be interpreted as a laugh.] I can't believe gods are one of them.

We've apparently got art, and some literature, just...with different names. I'm guess Storkules isn't the name you're familiar with.

[ Honestly it's kind of nice having Selene and her family be an icebreaker. ]

We call him "Hercules." Or, I guess we have a Greek god named Hercules.

[He's a Demi-God but potentially Nova doesn't know that much about Greek myth except she watched Hercules, the Disney movie, one time.]

For real, most of the gods I met were just normal people.

I guess it makes sense that gods wouldn't really be that different from us, but hearing it is still a trip and a half.

I guess that goes for a lot of things that would be commonplace for most of us. Like humans for me. As much is universal, there's still...differences.
