Good morning, New Rapture. A new day is dawning.

Less than ten of you left, now. The halls of your little slice of Rapture sure must feel empty now, hm? Even compared to their general size, you're going to naturally find yourself more and more alone more and more often. That's just statistics.

You may find yourself flagging. You may find it difficult to move on. Your captor has offered you so little respite, so little in the way of answers. The ocean is dark and foreboding. But remember this: in the darkest times, the brightest lights can shine.

As you wake once again on Sunday, there's another wing of New Rapture open to you, smaller than the ones before it. More to see, more to find, as your ally the vending machine might say.

[ Welcome to Founder #6's office, Forrest! As you enter, the lights turn on - it's lavishly decorated, almost to a tacky degree. Multiple floor-length mirrors stand at the ready, and there's a closet in the back - you know, in case the Founder wants to change in the middle of the day, I guess? There's also a portrait in the back of the room, which is going to become a staple of these things. As far as things to search go, there's a very cute desk, aforementioned closet... or you could look around her cabinets. ]

[Oh goodness, okay. She's...interesting.

That said, he'll go through the desk first! It's cute, he appreciates her taste in desks if nothing else.]

[ So the first thing he finds is a bunch of signed headshots - all signed "To my #1 fan, Love and kisses and more, Loki"

Next to those are a few carving tools, and some small blocks of wood. ]

[Oh! Does Loki carve? That's interesting... Are any of the blocks actually formed into anything, or does she just have the tools and nothing finished yet?]

[ Seems like she may have taken it up, at any rate! Looks like, from the couple that are in-progress, she was making chess pieces. ]

Is there anything else in the desk? He'll go through whatever drawers are here, but if there's nothing he'll be thoroughly invading her privacy and going over to the closet next!]

[ what can i say, girl loves chess

nothing else like. plot-relevant, but if you want to raid some nice perfume or high-quality makeup, it's been in here for a while but doesn't... seem to have actually been used. Some are even still in gift wrap. Seems like Loki was pretty popular!

The closet is mostly full of very nice dresses and fashionable outfits, but in the back there are a few wrapped outfits that don't quite fit the same image - a punk outfit, some obnoxious suit, one that's... Familiar, and a few more general suits and more casual daywear. ]

That said, he's here to take some of these dresses for further study in his room, they're absolutely fascinating. He'll leave the other outfits, though, they're kind of high on the hot mess scale.

There's some nice liquor, which has been touched, albeit not too much, as well as some finished chess pieces and a chessboard - the pieces are carved, a little roughly, into the shape of the Founders you've seen and several you may have not! ]

He'll look them all over, including the ones he doesn't recognize; this is a little weird for a pastime, but he supposes it's something to do. Is Fontaine here?]

[ Yep! He's the black king. ]

[ The white king, queen, and bishops are missing! ]

[...Well, okay then!

Are those pieces present on the other side, and if so what are they looking like?]

[ The queen is a woman in a strange green armorish suit you haven't seen, and the bishops are a man in a blue coat and Count Olaf. ]

[The same blue coat in the closet, or...?]

[ A different blue coat! Less... ostentatious. ]

[Noted! ...Lyndon, if you're ever bored and want to share I'm curious about everyone's position on the board. Not necessarily now, and it won't mean anything to Forrest anyway, but I'm curious.

Anyway! Now that that's looked at, is there anything else of note around here?]

[ I'd have to finalize some with Ashley, who's our primary Loki Mod, but yeah potentially at some point!

Nothing much else in this office! ]

[All right, awesome. He's stealing some of her dresses.

[ This office is... much less cute, potentially. It's fancy - mostly decorated in green and gold - but much more scattered are the things in it. The whole thing, despite being secure as any other room in this building, smells like the ocean. There's a desk, covered in gold jewelry and accessories, and an almost throne-like gold and green chair, above which sits this Founder's portrait. ]

[...Good god. He does not know what to do with this, nor does he recognize the lady. I also don't recognize the lady! So this is going to be an adventure for both of us.

...Can he go sit on the chair, because he is very tempted to go sit on the chair. Will it do anything if he does that.]

[ He can absolutely go sit on the chair! It's very comfy and luxurious, which is a weird sort of sensation in an abandoned building like this one. Close within reach is uh. A long-empty donut box - there's actually a few of those around, from the Krispy Kreme in a address located in an area called Fountainhead Square. There's also a typewritten note on the table next to it. ]

[Fountainhead Square, got it! ...Also this chair is fantastic, what the hell. Much better than the Hoshidan throne, which apparently melts people sometimes.

That said, he'll look over at the table, and he will notice the note! He will take a look.]

To Rita Repulsa, my favorite head of physical security,

New Years is fast approaching, and we're going to need more hands on deck before this whole thing splits sideways. I need as many of your little concrete and metal fellas as you can muster out on the streets when the show's going on. I ain't the type to believe in the rebellious element managing much of anything under my watch, but the only way that works is if we're ready to crush em ourselves. Take all of em out of the core of the city and we'll lock up around Helios Suites for the night during the party. Means all the Founders have to sleep in Helios for the night, but that ain't so bad, huh?
