Another trial, another week, and still you're probably running lower on answers than you'd like. And on people - you lost three since last Sunday. By the end of this week, you'll have been here for nearly a full month, yet still the days crawl on.

You wake up Sunday, again with no memory of Saturday, but this time with a simple message on your devices: You may resume requesting items, if you like. Enjoy. Guess it really was just a stealth motive after all, but at least it's being communicated that it's over! That's something, at least.

And when you leave your rooms on Sunday, there's another new area to explore! This one is... certainly more ambitious in its construction than the last one, to say the least. But hey, you have a pretty neat place to host parties, if you feel so inclined! That's... fun...

Hey, you gotta find the fun in situations like this where you can! Silver linings, right?

[ Hey, cool fucking motive! Really, this couldn’t be better. Just like the secret one the second week here, he’s extremely miffed by it, but all he can really do about it is stew on his own later on. There’s the whole rest of the week to stew, after all!

For now, after hanging around at the meeting for a little while before bouncing, Zelos has taken to his new favorite part of the facility, the water park. Actually, the bar may be more of the reason why he likes it here so much, but the combination of the drinks and being able to lay in a pool chair is enough to take the edge off for now.

So you’ll find him at different areas of the water park, dragging the pool chair around to find the perfect spot to chill with the obnoxious hurricane glass that looks like a palm tree that he has with him at all times. He’s also wearing the provided swimsuit, which is… way better than what could have been. ]

Now this is what I'm talking about. The only thing this place needs is the sun, the beach, and some cute beachgoers, and this'd be perfect.

[ Once he gets tired of that, he finally swings over to the vending machines to cash in on the coins he’s managed to get. Out of the two items he’s received, his attention is fully squared on one of them. ]

An egg? Why an egg?

[ The rest of the night, after depositing his stuff in his room, he makes his way back to the arcade, looking at everything for what seems like the 800th time before gravitating towards a Jubeat cabinet, tapping away at it for a long while before moving on to the other rhythm game cabinets. A lot of this stuff seems pretty mindless, which is... probably what he needs at the moment. ]

[ She's still not happy about the way they get new areas but, like... man, sometimes you just gotta attempt to relax. She's still pretty shaken up over seeing her best friend in that envelope, and though the idea of granting his most desperate wish is.... tempting, she sure doesn't intend to take the Professor up on that offer.

Besides, she doesn't know if the Professor can revive a dead person. Ugh. Anyway, she's here at the water park, and she's not quite expecting to see anyone else here. She does look to Zelos when he speaks up. ]

We could definitely use the sun. Four weeks of not seeing daylight, and I'm going stir-crazy.

[ He doesn't care if its because time is fake and everything is out of order... thank you for not immediately bringing up the meeting. ]

Ain't that the truth. What I wouldn't give to breathe air that hasn't probably been recycled...

[ He realizes what he said, before waving it off. ] Y'know, besides killing someone. I'm not that desperate.

[ Listen, if she brought it up, she'd have to deal with the embarrassment too.... It's fine.

She also appreciates the clarification, even if she... honestly wants to believe the best in everyone. Does that make her foolishly optimistic? ... Probably, but whatever. ]

It would be nice to have just five minutes of fresh air, wouldn't it? [ She sighs, looking out over the waterpark. ] Instead, we got this, a bar, and an arcade.

[ Hey, Zelos has been hanging around foolishly optimistic people for assumedly a while before coming here. If anything, Mira's attitude is extremely nostalgic for him at this point. ]

The other two places I could do with or without, but you won't catch me complaining about the bar. [ He shakes his palm tree glass for emphasis. ] I was getting tired of smelling that malört, that stuff is terrible. Nice to have something different for a change.

[ She laughs a little, then goes on over to take a seat next to him. ]

Really? I'll take your word for it--I suddenly feel very lucky I never smelled it.

Whatever you do, don't taste it, either. It's bitter and the aftertaste is awful. It does the job, but I dunno if its worth the experience.

Well... at least you don't have to suffer for it now. I haven't been in the bar, but I imagine it's infinitely better than anything we'd get from the machine.

Without question. I'd be happy to make you something, but I can't guarantee it'd be any good. I think I saw some premixed stuff in the fridge, though.

[ Or maybe he did? It's hard to tell what a lot of the stuff is by labels alone. ]

It's alright, though it's sweet of you to offer. I'm not quite at the point of wanting to drink just yet.

Hopefully that doesn't change, then. I'd hate to be the one to cause you to start drinking – the others would never let me live it down.

[ you just offered to make her a drink, though? dude, cmon. ]

She raises her eyebrows at that, and then, teasingly-- ]

I'll just have to keep it quiet that you offered to mix me a drink not five minutes ago, then, won't I?

... touché. But it let it be known that I don't start anyone's bad habits, I only encourage them when they say yes.

You're making an excellent case for yourself.

[ She laughs a little. ]

I wouldn't worry too much, though... I have plenty of bad habits, so I shouldn't add another to the mix.

[ He cocks a brow. ]

[ She walked right into that one, she has only herself to blame. ]

You're absolutely right, my apologies. Your radiance blinded me for a moment, long enough to cause me to forget where I was.

[ He smirks, leaning back in his pool chair. ]

[She gives a fingergun because seriously, Shelley, you're cheesy as hell sometimes, haha. Still, what Zelos had said makes her think]

It's funny, this place has everything anyone would want. A chef, some nice lodgings, a water park with a bar, and the ocean out there. If I didn't know better I'd think we got trapped in some sort of resort.

I can agree with you, aside from the ocean view part. I'd rather get my views at or above sea level, personally. Something about the constant threat of getting the ocean dropped on us tends to dampen the whole resort vibe.

I don't really see why an egg is necessary. I mean, I could just walk into the cafeteria and get one there. Why stock the machine with these?
