Zerinda and Ema are here in the bar to make drinks, and Mira's brought in a ton of food that's definitely not healthy for anyone, but screw it, who cares about health right now?

Della's here to pass out invitations, too--they let everyone know there's a gathering in the bar, if they'd rather not be alone.

If you choose not to come, well... Mira's got that taken care of, too. She'll place a little container of cookies and hot cocoa outside your door. Maybe it'll help someone feel a little less alone--at least, that's what she's hoping. ]

They've got protein in them, and they come from animals so that means vegans won't eat them. But they're considered reproductive byproducts instead of meat - they don't contain any flesh but can be used to make baby...whatever produced them. Chickens in this case.

Oh, Amethyst wasn't a part of the war. She's young, by Gem standards. But Pearl and Garnet were with me the whole time. They were the second and third Crystal Gems.

[Sort of second through fourth, but we don't have to go directly into that.]

I met Pearl after she ran away from her owner. She was incredible. She taught herself to fight, when Pearls are only supposed to be decorative. [there's like three fucked up things in there she didn't even get into]

Jasper kind of mentioned that sort of concept to me at one point. About how people are just created to have a specific purpose where you're all from. I can see where you wouldn't like that sort of thing very much, at least.

That was part of why I rebelled. It all started with the Earth, but once I saw how other Gems were suffering...I couldn't just stand around and watch it happen.

Garnet's very strong and confident. I've always admired her for that.

She's a fusion, and she stays permanently fused because that's how Ruby and Sapphire express their love for each other. It's so romantic...every time I've fused with her, the feeling is incredible.

Not necessarily. It can be, but lots of fusions aren't.

On Homeworld it's only permitted for soldiers to fuse for battle, and only among the same type of Gem. I've never fused with another Rose Quartz - [for SO MANY REASONS] - but Ruby says it's different like that. Maybe because their resonance is all so similar. That's why they all wanted to shatter Garnet so badly. [well, those first bits are, the rest was just a bit of a tangent]

Do Rubies and Sapphires have a huge class difference or something, or is it just not allowed full-out?

It's not allowed at all - but also, they do. Sapphires are rare gems, aristocrats. Rubies are common footsoldiers. They're considered disposable; Blue Diamond meant to shatter Ruby for their fusion, and keep Sapphire for herself.
