WEEK 5

That's three murders now - and this last trial got more than slightly out of hand. It looks like you might be in for another tough week... or at least, maybe that's just the refusal of this place to change too much. You lose Saturday again, but maybe six-day weeks are starting to feel normal by now. Who knows? The cycle of day and night continues apace, changing so little.

Speaking of change, though, there's a new area to look through, the biggest and most complex yet. And the end of one wing of the facility, from the looks of it - though you can probably guess where more areas might start to open up.

And speaking of opening up (segues!), this week if you're out particularly late, you might sometimes see Angel out and about! So hey, maybe change is on the horizon.

Just gotta hope it's a change for the better, don't you?

I think it's lovely, myself. It's been forever since I've been able to feel my feet in the grass, and my hands in the dirt...

[ So it's a tactile thing..? ]

I've missed doing a little bit of investigation outside...this is really the next best thing.

I never thought I'd have taken for granted being outdoors. But, I had.

[ Even after being in a coffin for so long, he had gotten used to moving around in the outside world when people had come to wake him up. ]

I think you don't actually start to really appreciate things like sunshine and flowers until you go for a little while without them.

[ If Ema minds the lingering, it absolutely doesn't show on her face. Company is always good to have. ]

I can see myself in this room pretty often, y'know? It's almost a shame we have that rule against taking naps...

[ He could think of how many people might also enjoy the fact that they have this little piece of heaven here. If it could still be called that due to its association with the Professor... ]

I suspect that was put in place to stop us from taking advantage of an actual nice place to sleep besides our rooms.
