WEEK 5

That's three murders now - and this last trial got more than slightly out of hand. It looks like you might be in for another tough week... or at least, maybe that's just the refusal of this place to change too much. You lose Saturday again, but maybe six-day weeks are starting to feel normal by now. Who knows? The cycle of day and night continues apace, changing so little.

Speaking of change, though, there's a new area to look through, the biggest and most complex yet. And the end of one wing of the facility, from the looks of it - though you can probably guess where more areas might start to open up.

And speaking of opening up (segues!), this week if you're out particularly late, you might sometimes see Angel out and about! So hey, maybe change is on the horizon.

Just gotta hope it's a change for the better, don't you?

[ There doesn't seem to be much immediately out of place at all! I mean, apart from the poisons section, but they're all so clearly labelled that they almost seem just as normal.

Not that there's nothing in here, of course, but it might require some more, um. Digging, if you'll pardon the word choice. ]

[ Hm...well, she does have a shovel, but it's a bit big. And she doesn't want to just start digging without knowing what she's looking for. Is there any indication in the soil that something just needs a good couple handfuls of dirt pulled away? It'd be a shame to ruin the flowers for nothing... ]

[ Nope, nothing like that! If there is anything buried in here, it could be anywhere... you're probably going to want to figure out some kind of lead before taking a shovel to it.

Of course, you could always just turn on the birdsong and relax, too... ]

[ Well, no sense in digging for treasure without a map, so to speak. Maybe she'll take you up on that birdsong, boss.

...Actually, just where is that coming from? ]

[ Apparently, there are some small speakers in the trees! And if you get close enough to them, there's something else under the birdsong? ]

Might want to take a quick run for some paper? ]

[ Hm...that might take a quick run to the library, actually.

It only takes about half an hour before she comes back, and when she does, she's right back at the switch for the birdsong. ]

Is there even a spot around there that looks like it'd be worth planting a shovel in? Or is she just going in circles now? ]
