WEEK 7

Another Saturday gone and just like that you wake on Sunday, down five of your number. The largest dent taken out of you at once so far - it's surely noticeable, the head count being cut by a third. Almost enough to make you wonder how many of you will even be left by the next motive or two. Surely this isn't a sustainable rate for body counts to increase... right?

There's a new and, it looks like, final wing of the building to explore, bringing everything full circle. Maybe you'll get some more answers to some of the questions and mysteries of this place there - or at least, you can certainly hope for them. Time to turn your investigative eyes towards one last batch of rooms, who knows what you might find?

Angel remains around at night, her appearances much more common now that... well, she's certainly seen a downtick in necessary surveillance work, hasn't she? The app giving you a line to The Professor remains open, and well... whatever's going on with that ouija in the library continues to happen! You're not suffering from a shortage of leads, at least, even as things get more bizarre.

Something's going to have to give here, eventually. Right?

[ One appears to be explaining something about the map to the other, whose hands are on their hips. It seems a little like a pitch, maybe? But between coworkers, not the usual "to the execs" kind of thing. ]

[ It appears roughly the same build as the shadowfriend who was explaining the map, so.

There are a couple papers on the desk - one of them is what looks like a rough draft of the test subject rules, with a couple crossed out - it looks like originally it was meant to be quiet hours after dark? That one's crossed out vigorously, looks like editing came down hard on it.

The other, which the figure is currently focusing on, is a page of notes they've started on titled SECRETARY ON-SITE AGENT ASSISTANT.

For our second time around, we need someone on-site to cut aggression. Can't have a repeat of hostage motive week. Perhaps we could use-

[Professor's having a rough time, huh. Pobrecito. That said, noted again; he'll be making a couple of notes on that, actually. Hm.

And then we've got those two figures off by themselves, don't we? How're they doing?]

There aren't really any visual cues here, but some audio starts playing, between The Professor and "Some Woman."

You can't argue with the results.

"Actually, I think you'll find I can. But for monetary reasons, I will not."

Once we have a stable cycle, think of how easy it will be to iterate further! Take it out of the experimental phase. A standardized procedure.

"And when our opposition catches on?"

What will they be able to do about it? We are operating out of a facility on no known map - even that damnable task force will never find us now.

[ Yup! There doesn't seem to be any way to get audio to play on the others, though, no matter where he stands. But they don't go away!
