Another Saturday gone and just like that you wake on Sunday, down five of your number. The largest dent taken out of you at once so far - it's surely noticeable, the head count being cut by a third. Almost enough to make you wonder how many of you will even be left by the next motive or two. Surely this isn't a sustainable rate for body counts to increase... right?

There's a new and, it looks like, final wing of the building to explore, bringing everything full circle. Maybe you'll get some more answers to some of the questions and mysteries of this place there - or at least, you can certainly hope for them. Time to turn your investigative eyes towards one last batch of rooms, who knows what you might find?

Angel remains around at night, her appearances much more common now that... well, she's certainly seen a downtick in necessary surveillance work, hasn't she? The app giving you a line to The Professor remains open, and well... whatever's going on with that ouija in the library continues to happen! You're not suffering from a shortage of leads, at least, even as things get more bizarre.

Something's going to have to give here, eventually. Right?

All of this is already making way too many assumptions about what people do and don't remember, and how people are going to behave. At this point, there's no way to trust any of the correlated information we've been given without assuming this person can literally predict the future.

The Failsafe at least seems to...dislike someone Angel knew, someone like...well, very like the Professor. But, you're right, I don't...really want to bank on that.

I don't know that we can trust the Failsafe to slip up, but she can't attack us unless we go for her first, right? There are ways to take advantage of that that don't end in killing someone unnecessarily.

I understand that, but this is literally hinging on someone telling us the Failsafe will slip up and depending on things going exactly as they say, to the point of relying on this person being clairvoyant. All of that is something we do not want to bank on.

I agree. We don't know anything about her. But... I'm not opposed to warning Angel so she can get herself out of the way, whatever the Failsafe does.

Of course I can. But I want to know all of us here are on the same page first. Don't need to be tripping over anyone unclear on the plan or having second thoughts. The fewer things we have to take on faith, the better. I want to know... that I can trust you all.

Oh my god. If you're looking for giant heartwarming declarations of trust and unity, you're looking in the wrong place.

I'm not involving myself in this any further than this discussion, so I'm out of your way. I'm just saying that if you guys all get killed doing this, that's your prerogative.

It's an idea that doesn't involve us breaking rules that currently get us killed, and it might lock the Failsafe out of those tunnels everywhere. I like it, I think it's better than waiting for the last of us to pick each other off. If you want to stay out of it, fine. Doesn't benefit you to do anything that'll make our deaths more likely.

If there's a way to make it difficult for that Professor, I'll take it. It's a risk, but from now on, we'll have to take those if we want to do something about our situation.

[ To say it was frustrating was just the tip of the iceberg. Also he's pretty uh...painfully awkward that he didn't know what to do with trust more than half the time, so he'll just leave it. His words were genuine enough, he felt. ]

At that point, the Failsafe's out of the tunnels either way, if she's replacing Angel as the Assistant. I can get Angel to the tunnels, though I won't complain about having some cover.

What about the rest of you? I asked the Professor what counts as "violence" a little while ago. As long as we're not intentionally trying to hurt a staff member, we're in the clear. Got anything you can slow the Failsafe down with?

With my powers back, I might be able to block her. I might even be able to protect Angel if the Failsafe goes for her anyways.
