WEEK 7

Another Saturday gone and just like that you wake on Sunday, down five of your number. The largest dent taken out of you at once so far - it's surely noticeable, the head count being cut by a third. Almost enough to make you wonder how many of you will even be left by the next motive or two. Surely this isn't a sustainable rate for body counts to increase... right?

There's a new and, it looks like, final wing of the building to explore, bringing everything full circle. Maybe you'll get some more answers to some of the questions and mysteries of this place there - or at least, you can certainly hope for them. Time to turn your investigative eyes towards one last batch of rooms, who knows what you might find?

Angel remains around at night, her appearances much more common now that... well, she's certainly seen a downtick in necessary surveillance work, hasn't she? The app giving you a line to The Professor remains open, and well... whatever's going on with that ouija in the library continues to happen! You're not suffering from a shortage of leads, at least, even as things get more bizarre.

Something's going to have to give here, eventually. Right?

Ohhh, that kinda player, huh? You'd fit right in at McDuck Manor.

Nice to hear that. Maybe I'll drop by once this all blows over.

With your family, versus mine? That'd be a sight.

Oh, definitely. Sounds like a good way to break the ice, too.

They all just as competitive? I used to dominate game nights.

Jake can be, though he's more competitive about sports that involve more moving around. And Cinder and Thor are probably the most competitive of the kids-Adam can be, too, though he prefers videogames more. And Glow'll probably get competitive if she's on the same team as him. The twins are the most competitive when they're on opposite teams, and Etna's just happy to play.

The boys usually egg each other on. Me and Donald and Uncle Scrooge--we all did the same thing. It runs in the family.

[ Della stretches, readying herself. ]

So. Wanna show some of the Tyler family spirit?

Sounds like a fascinating chain reaciton to watch.

[She nods at the question.] Tyr, but yeah. [Nira leans down on one side of the table, supporting herself with its edge as she takes hold of one of the puck-hitting thing.]

[ pretend she got that right, this is why you don't tag at 3 in the morning--

Della readies her paddle. Let's play!! (And by play I mean handwave.) ]

[Handwaving works! Nira's got some power behind her serves, but she's bad at twitch reflexes and probably lets the puck slip by her by a relatively narrow margin a few times, though that just gets her more fired up.]

Wow, I see what you mean now! [She's grinning, looking enthusiastic about it still.]

[ In her corner, Della's a little rusty from not playing in awhile, but what really causes her some issues is the fact that the table is clearly made for people human-sized, not duck. It means she also lets some pucks slip by her, misses some good openings, but nevertheless she's similar enthused. ]

Right?! It's good, isn't it?!

[ladygeryon]

Hell yeah! [Nira gives one last push to the puck that sends it skidding across the table before it ricochets and bounces off the surface.]

Whoops! [She looks a little contrite, but she's still got that grin on her face.]

Ooohh, a little bit of a powerhouse there, huh?

[ Della hops down from her box and goes to retrieve the puck. ]

Rules I worked out with Jasper say I get to start the game back up. You good with that?

[A grin.] No problem there. Come at me!

[ Backhanded!! Strike!!! Okay, not really, but she's got an impressive handle on the paddle. ]
