THIRD TRIAL
[ Once all the needed information has been pulled from the PARTY ZONE and nearby echelons, Davy Jones once again does his rounds to collect everyone and bring them to the theatre. ]
You are all familiar with this procedure by now, step quickly!
[ And with the blast of the organ, down the elevator starts to go, into the bowels of the ship below. Things darken and then, as before, you hear a song from the crew of the Dutchman drifting predatory below. ]
Take yer places, all of ye.
[ The circle of podiums remains, two more podiums rusted over and aged. Jones takes his place, meanwhile, looking out the window at the sea.
The shanty dies down, and the atmosphere darkens.
Welcome to your third trial. ]

[Or at least it says that about Risotto -- no judging you for your job, Risotto, just pointing out]
Just as a start if we're gonna discuss this.

[Look. Alice just revealed her she's not gonna deny anything.]

But we're. We're supposed to just believe you?

Although we don't have any way to confirm that that's why the chandelier was dropped in the first place, so there's that to consider.

[Misdirection is a powerful thing. See exhibit A: the whole Alice thing last trial.]
Or...they could have just been pointlessly dramatic. I don't know why, but...

[Don't ask him what, though, he has no idea. He just is thinking that the most simple reason for throwing the chandelier down is that it being up there was not great for the killer]

I cannot really argue with the desire to add a bit of extra drama, admittedly.

[This is just going in circles at this point, so he shrugs. He doesn't know???]

I'd also say I'd rather not be wrongly condemned for being the killer when I'm not. Though, I'd understand if there was still suspicion upon my person...you do have to understand I'm also not left-handed.
In the end, my own suspicion happens to be less towards those who happen to be right-handed as a result.

[So like.]

If I am suspicious, than so is she.

[like, you're the one trying to act superior here dude]
no subject
I see.
Then, I'll simply acknowledge you were right that it didn't and move on.

[i am so sorry to have opened this can of worms]

Not everyone can do that, for that matter. Though, I suppose that was an oversight not factored into that check.
In retrospect, we still have other things to look for, however.

[ Like. At least everyone knows what each other's chicken scratch looks like know????? ]
