[ Well! That's sure something, isn't it? There may or may not be a lot of you excited to get down to business, but Jones does eventually move to collect you all and bring you to the theatre. It's a familiar routine by now, perhaps even comfortingly so given the irregularities of this particular killing.

I wouldn't say it's impossible, but Sara had a knife; perhaps she managed to strike whomever was attacking her.

That would be reasonable to think but would anyone be foolish enough to wear the same clothes into the trial if they had a slash in them? I wouldn't rule it out but we probably should look into other things first if it did come from the culprit.

If they were wearing those cut-up pants from the machine, you wouldn't even be able to tell!

Oh, no, I wasn't talking about these scraps, those pants are always black, I think. Just, in general, you wouldn't notice if those were damaged when the person you killed fought back.
