FOURTH TRIAL
[ Well! That's sure something, isn't it? There may or may not be a lot of you excited to get down to business, but Jones does eventually move to collect you all and bring you to the theatre. It's a familiar routine by now, perhaps even comfortingly so given the irregularities of this particular killing.
Two of you gone this week. The elevator is started to feel downright spacious, don't you think?
A shanty, as usual, echoes from the crew of the Dutchman as you enter. The room is the same as it has ever been before you as the elevator settles into position. ]
To yer positions, passengers. Chins up.
[ Three more podiums claimed by the rust and wear.
You have your evidence, and you're going to need it before long. The music outside dies down.
Welcome to your fourth trial. ]

Maybe having no food--maybe that's what triggered it.
[In which case wow, did it work ever so wonderfully. Poor Sara and Albedo]
If it was that it may not have been conscious? I guess? Because if you have to starve to trigger it, it doesn't sound like it'd be conscious.

Who ate something before coming here? It's been several days with no food, so everyone except the killer would have rushed to eat something right?

[He has told people before he technically doesn't need to eat, though.]
cw: vague mention of emeto
[She only slightly regrets this, because good lord the cw: gore situation is. A lot, and she probably wouldn't have been able to keep it down.]
cw: vague mention of emeto
[He's just. Connecting some dots in his mind and suddenly looking in her direction.]
Flayn, did you eat this morning?
CW: Emeto
No...when I woke up this morning, I saw the food in the Jimmy Buffet and got scared. If it was there, that meant someone had died...I could not just stuff myself while someone lay dead on the ship!
[Also, the bile she threw up is literally just bile. Maybe a little red from eating two or three gummy fish last night, but that's it.]

[Well at least that all matches up and he doesn't have to directly accuse her of vore crimes.]

[Not even ketchup. He doesn't want to look at ketchup while picturing the mess in the piano lounge]

[ Did he go like, immediately from the crime scene over to the cafe for breakfast? ...Aside from washing his hands in between, yes. ]

[ It's been days but...Chloe's appetite dried up. ]

I did eat, by the way. Before we found the bodies.
[Who ran right to the buffet, it is him.]
no subject
[ he could handle eating right after seeing most things most people couldn't tbh ]
