FOURTH TRIAL
[ Well! That's sure something, isn't it? There may or may not be a lot of you excited to get down to business, but Jones does eventually move to collect you all and bring you to the theatre. It's a familiar routine by now, perhaps even comfortingly so given the irregularities of this particular killing.
Two of you gone this week. The elevator is started to feel downright spacious, don't you think?
A shanty, as usual, echoes from the crew of the Dutchman as you enter. The room is the same as it has ever been before you as the elevator settles into position. ]
To yer positions, passengers. Chins up.
[ Three more podiums claimed by the rust and wear.
You have your evidence, and you're going to need it before long. The music outside dies down.
Welcome to your fourth trial. ]

Yesterday, I was looking for Lorna. I found her in the crafts room - she had fainted. Decus helped me bring her back to our room to recover.

[Probably can't reveal y'all were trying to phone the dead]
I did fall asleep at some point in the night, in my chair.

[Anyway!]
That's natural...
[But. But! That doesn't sound good, though.]

[Her heart would not let her ignore a friend in distress!]

[Hm.]
So it seems there was a period of time that Lorna could have woken up.

[Flayn's brow is furrowed.]
But it is not something I would expect to have happened. She...mm. [Is it mean to comment on someone's health when they're right there?] She has been...worse off than some of the rest of us.

If I'm wrong I'll apologize but it's worth exploring everything we have.
[She won't be sorry, though.]

[What is she-]
Wait. You think Lorna-

You think she would - she is ill! Miss Allenby was in much better physical condition! How could...how could you think that Lorna could...?
[Flayn's got a bit of a bias, but she does feel like she's making a valid point here.]

Were you asleep at any point last night, or were you watching Lorna constantly?

[She looks like a tiny ball of fury, though.]
I watched her for as long as I could stay awake - I do not even remember when I fell asleep, but I must have, because I woke up still in my chair!

[Hey. She's pretty sure Flayn doesn't know about Earth literature.]
If we're dealing with supernatural or magical beings then whether Lorna is ill may be the reason or a symptom of what happened.
