WEEK 7
Good morning, passengers. Happy Sunday. Happy New Year.
Another week, another three gone in the case alone, not to mention Chloe earlier in the week. Even as you gain access to another floor, the ship by now must be starting to feel more empty than ever. It's been a long time by now, approaching two months.
Where do you think you'll be, in two months more time?
The clouds have begun to gather around the ship, this week.

SUNDAY | MONDAY | TUESDAY | WEDNESDAY | THURSDAY
[ ooc: Welcome to week 7, everyone! Remember to turn in AC here and coins for regains over here! If you wish to get in contact with the npcs, Davy Jones is over here, and The Captain is over here! And as requested, profiles are accessible here. ]

[Filbo is as far from vengeful as he can get, but he's not some perfect being without the capacity to feel negative feelings. He has disliked people in the past, but he never truly hated anyone -- and really, he doesn't hate Jack, but at the same time he's so done with him and his murdercruise he just doesn't care at all what happens to that man.
Probably would have lingering regrets in the future once he's back to normal life, really. That's a problem for future Filbo, though]

[It is going to happen unless something drastically unforeseen takes place, but... it isn't the sort of thing Filbo should have to see. It isn't the sort of thing he should have to acknowledge and turn a blind eye to in the first place.]
I'm sorry, Filbo. But thank you for your understanding.
[It won't be easy for Filbo to deal with the fallout from this, but right now they do have more important matters to worry about. That's a problem for future Filbo indeed.]

[Life's rough. Filbo smiles wryly, restarting his bumbling piano playing]
I-It doesn't make much sense to be thinking about such things until we truly get ahead of this all, anyway! So let's focus on the present and on staying alive, and then everything else will come afterwards. That's why I'm thinking of something along the lines of a party, one of these days. Nothing too cheerful, just some small celebration that has nothing to do with New Year, anyway.
...well, it was something Reika suggested to me, but I think it'd do us some good to try to distract ourselves with something a little better than what we have been doing for the last two months!
[Sounds like he's floating the idea to Yeager, though, like he wants to see what he'd think of such a proposal]

[Not that everything's been all doom and gloom the whole time, but you know. Sylvando tried to keep everyone smiling and Freyja helped host that initial party even when she didn't believe it would really help. Every little bit counts, and that's just as true now as it was then.]
It is a bit of a shame that we don't have anyone able to perform... But perhaps we could do something different! Silly little games like "Never Have I Ever" or "Two Truths and a Lie" could be fun... oh, or a movie night! We do have that theater and there are a lot of different movies we could watch...!
[There's also karaoke!! He doesn't know what the hell karaoke is.]
no subject
Right! We have a lot more to work with now than we did before, and a lot more space. Reika had mentioned the spa and I thought it wasn't a bad idea at all! I could--somehow I could take there a few things from other rooms and set things up to have something to do while we relax. I can figure things out.
[You can be sure Filbo would somehow try to take the TV from the teen zone and the DVD player from the movie theater to move them to the spa. At least it's likelier the karaoke machine can be taken all the way to the spa, so at least that probably would exist in there, heh]
no subject
Well, I'm sure a spa day could be very enjoyable for people who are into that sort of thing!
[On a totally unrelated note, you all have never seen Yeager in anything less than a full suit; that includes the pool, the spa, and when does Yeager shower?? It is a mystery.]
I haven't really spent any time in there, what would we be... doing, exactly?
[In case it wasn't obvious before now, Yeager is the sort of person who enjoys relaxing.]

[Filbo stops playing, thinking]
The thing about the spa is that it has plenty of space to just soak in. Sitting around in tubs is bound to get boring, though, so I was thinking maybe it could be made into some sorta...uh...I guess decadent's the word for this all? Letting your worries melt away, having a few hot drinks while you're watching something else happen like a movie if I can drag the TV into the spa, talk with others...it's all about the atmosphere making you forget for a while where you are, I can--I can make it happen, I'm sure of it.
And then on the other end of the spa away from all that, something a little more social because relaxation's not for everyone, I guess. Probably set things up for party games like the ones you mentioned, some music...overall try to make things be more...I dunno, active? In some way?
[He really seems to be spitballing here -- after all, if he goes ahead with all this he has to organize things in a way that keeps twelve different people other than himself happy and entertained, and that's just a very difficult task]
Frankly I'm open to suggestions, because this should be something for all of us.

[Given how there's a tiny chance of getting the dead back, he's so looking forward to hosting one of his usual parties if they manage to get people back from the end of the world. Filbo trying to throw something if they have to go back home within the hour or something is unlikely, but hey, if somehow there's even a remote chance they could all meet together again he would definitely do something to make it happen]
no subject
Ja, I think that would be nice! I'm sure they'd appreciate that!

[If the icons are any indication, hah]

Oh, it's... Well, the idea of death not being... permanent is a bit... odd, I suppose.
Not that I want our companions to be beyond saving or anything of the sort! It's just... strange.
no subject
[It once seemed like to Zaveid Filbo was forgetting those who had died when he was talking about what would happen in the future]
I think I'm just glad there's some hope on that regard on the first place.
no subject
[It's Complicated, that's what this comes down to.]
My apologies, I didn't mean to worry you.

[Filbo sighs]
I wish things were a little easier to deal with. Sure feels like being on this ship has shown all sorts of weird thoughts I dunno how to even deal with. I mean, I'm glad for it! But it feels like the world was so much simpler before coming here.
[Everyone here has needed to face so many things, starting from the knowledge of many worlds existing, to the possibility of dead people being back, to the strange emotional conundrums]

[...]
But I feel like I've learned quite a lot since coming here, and not all of it is dreadful! So I suppose there have certainly been some good things - like meeting you!
