WEEK 7

Good morning, passengers. Happy Sunday. Happy New Year.

Another week, another three gone in the case alone, not to mention Chloe earlier in the week. Even as you gain access to another floor, the ship by now must be starting to feel more empty than ever. It's been a long time by now, approaching two months.

Where do you think you'll be, in two months more time?

The clouds have begun to gather around the ship, this week.

SUNDAY | MONDAY | TUESDAY | WEDNESDAY | THURSDAY

[ ooc: Welcome to week 7, everyone! Remember to turn in AC here and coins for regains over here! If you wish to get in contact with the npcs, Davy Jones is over here, and The Captain is over here! And as requested, profiles are accessible here. ]

Well, that is good to know, at least. And I presume you are not in danger of rust, given your condition on arrival.

All of my vulnerable electronic components are thoroughly insulated, and the metals used in my construction are proofed against rust. I was obviously not designed to go swimming, as I am not sufficiently buoyant, but I suppose my father felt that water was too omnipresent to be entirely avoided.

[who puts all that effort into building a robot just to have it break because it fell in a pond]

Being submerged in deeper waters can interfere with my servos, but nothing on the ship is deep enough for that to be a concern.

I see. That certainly makes sense, all things considered, though it does seem something of a shame you cannot go that deep down. It might be interesting to be able to take a stroll along the sea floor.

It would be. Unfortunately, the deepest I have been able to venture is the bottom of a lake.

Well, I imagine that would be interesting as well, I think, though I would expect the visibility to be far lower outside of specific circumstances.

[Data nods.]

I have excellent low-light vision, but the water was not especially clear. It is a shame - I would have liked to see the local wildlife.

I imagine I would have felt much the same, honestly. I have heard tales of a place in my world where even normal humans can walk on the ocean floor, but it is not exactly a welcoming tourist destination...
