Another week, another three gone in the case alone, not to mention Chloe earlier in the week. Even as you gain access to another floor, the ship by now must be starting to feel more empty than ever. It's been a long time by now, approaching two months.

Where do you think you'll be, in two months more time?

It is so very vast and wonderful, this is true.

[Other people look at the ocean and f e a r how big it is, how deep, how unknown. Flayn thrives in it.]

But I have never seen or heard of coral before, and that is not exactly a fish. It is so beautiful...

There's this big reef out by Australia that's made of coral. You can snorkel or scuba dive and see it and all the fish.

[Scott sometimes just knows stuff. This one is definitely because he watched a nature documentary at like 2am once.]

...I do not know what a snorkel is, but I assume it has something to do with swimming.

It's like a straw for your face so you can breathe underwater.

[That's. I mean. That's one way to put it.]

A straw for your face...that takes in air instead of a drink. How unusual!

Yeah, so you have this straw going up to the surface so you can breathe and then these goggles so you can see without water getting in your eyes. I've never actually been, but it looks really cool.
