Another week, another three gone in the case alone, not to mention Chloe earlier in the week. Even as you gain access to another floor, the ship by now must be starting to feel more empty than ever. It's been a long time by now, approaching two months.

Where do you think you'll be, in two months more time?

The clouds have begun to gather around the ship, this week.

...Maybe we will be lucky and it will not be a storm, but something helpful emerging from the clouds that just uses them to hide.

A fog can hide your murderer or keep you safe from attackers. [She agrees.] It's hard to tell for now.

[Flayn hums a little bit before she just pops down into the water for a bit, doing a lil twist in the water and swimming across to the edge nearest Reika before she pops back up. Her ears stick right out from her damp hair - no wonder she avoided swimming before.]

Do you think there is a way for us to find out from here? Perhaps...perhaps we could make a kite to fly into the clouds?

I suppose? I'm not sure if we could figure much out that way.

Well, it is not as if any of us can fly up there to check.

Mm... I feel something is coming, Flayn. I hope we're prepared for it.

[cethflayn]

[She gently starts to float on her back again.]

...It had to come eventually. I just wonder how soon it will come.

[And how many of them will be left to meet it.]

I wonder that, too.

[She starts floating on her back. Reika closes her eyes briefly.]

Mm, Filbo and I were thinking about hosting a party in the spa tomorrow. I think it's even more important now due to the motive that we stick together.

A spa party?

[Flayn has never, ever heard of such a thing before. Sure, Fodlan has saunas, but no one holds parties in them.]

What does one do at a spa party?

It's a bit of a vain thing but the idea is to relax and try to make each other look good. I volunteered to help with things like painting nails. I could do yours; I could make them look really cute.

I have heard of painting one's nails before! How do you make them look cute?

Hm, well, there's always the picking of colors--for instance I could paint yours to match your hair. I wonder if they have stencils... I'm no expert but some people can paint shapes on them.

[Like a fish, for example.]

[Look at this ancient being with her big, wide, sparkly eyes just imagining having seafoam green nails with fish on them.]

I would love to see if that is possible!
