Good morning, New Rapture. A new day is dawning.

It's now been a week since you were all captured. Perhaps you've already settled in. Perhaps you're already confident that you'll make it out of New Rapture alive. How serious about this could Mayor Fontaine possibly be, really?

While there still may not be much to do in your little hotel bubble, you've at least been granted a little more now - some kind of mysterious room and a sizeable library of all things. And in all the places you've looked so far, you've found valuable information, and even learned some of the story of New Rapture along the way.

Make sure to keep talking to the others! You want to keep those regain coins flowing, don't you?

[He nods, brightening up a little.]

Th-thank you si-Misfire.

[Misfire makes his way over to the glass, leaving his goodies on the floor. He readies a fist, then tacks on quickly, like a verbal fine print:]

Also you owe me one!

[And punches the glass. To absolutely no effect.]

[He quickly steps back, making way for Misfire's punch.

... Huh.]

I suppose that promise cannot be fulfilled if you cannot get me out of here.

[As if Jonathan was verbalizing his own fine print.]

Nuh-uh. No take-backsies. I put myself on the line there just to spare you from a few hours of being public entertainment. The big man could've punished me for just trying!

[He glares a little at Misfire.]

How am I even supposed to pay you back like this?

[dullshooter]

Eye for an I.O.U. I put myself in danger for you. Next time I need it, you can do the same. Promise I won’t do anything risky in the next couple of hours.

[He’ll be returning to his spot to watch the Jonathan Channel.]

[And Jonathan returns to his spot as well, looking absolutely frustrated with this turn of events. He's no less trapped here than he was before and now he owes something to Misfire.]

I am not sure why you're staying here. It's not like I am doing anything of note.

[dullshooter]

No, see, that's the appeal. You're just hanging around there doing absolutely nothing, which gives me free reign to add wacky running commentary in my own head. The hilarity is in the juxtaposition.

He looks over at the bathroom door.]

I suppose there is nothing stopping me from staying in the bathroom for the rest of my stay here.
