Good morning, New Rapture. A new day is dawning.

It's now been a week since you were all captured. Perhaps you've already settled in. Perhaps you're already confident that you'll make it out of New Rapture alive. How serious about this could Mayor Fontaine possibly be, really?

While there still may not be much to do in your little hotel bubble, you've at least been granted a little more now - some kind of mysterious room and a sizeable library of all things. And in all the places you've looked so far, you've found valuable information, and even learned some of the story of New Rapture along the way.

Make sure to keep talking to the others! You want to keep those regain coins flowing, don't you?

I'm sorry Van Baelsar. It's just... it was getting so late and the rules never said they would punish us for sleeping outside our rooms. I-I simply thought that I would be woken up and scolded if I slept somewhere else

Even if that happened to be the case, I do not believe it to be particularly safe to fall asleep outside of your room.

I-I suppose; but I trust everyone here, and thought that I wouldn't have to worry about anyone killing.

But I suppose this is what I deserve, for not learning my lesson from last time.

...I know you wish to remain optimistic, and I believe our group has a solid chance of doing well here. However, that is still no reason to put yourself at undue risk of harm.

...I know, I'm sorry. [He looks away from Gaius, trying to hide just how guilty he feels right now.] I... I suppose I forgot for a moment the exact nature of our captivity here.

I suppose we did finally receive something to stave off boredom, so there is that, at least. Still, I hope that you will not do it again.

I will not, I promise. The torture of being here unsure of my fate is more than enough.

... I truly hope this is the only punishment the Mayor has in store for me. He did not give me full details of my punishment.

I imagine it will not be that much worse than what you are currently experiencing. It seems to be a minor infraction more than anything else.
