Week 2
Good morning, New Rapture. A new day is dawning.
It's now been a week since you were all captured. Perhaps you've already settled in. Perhaps you're already confident that you'll make it out of New Rapture alive. How serious about this could Mayor Fontaine possibly be, really?
While there still may not be much to do in your little hotel bubble, you've at least been granted a little more now - some kind of mysterious room and a sizeable library of all things. And in all the places you've looked so far, you've found valuable information, and even learned some of the story of New Rapture along the way.
Make sure to keep talking to the others! You want to keep those regain coins flowing, don't you?

[Well, her 'literally everybody' is three people in total, but it continues being completely true.
Once Undertaker gets close enough, he'll definitely make this much harder. He's certainly close enough to see Aiba's real form on the floor, by the legs of the chair, looking upwards. Given his position and the way his hair spilled, she was forced to come closer to keep the projection going.
Aiba took a gamble and lost it: her real form is there]

[ The man grins at her... ]

He kneels down to the creature's level, placing one hand on the chair's seat to stabilize himself as he goes. He may be hard of seeing, but he's still eying her true form like a hawk, ready to strike if she tries to run away. ]
I say, Miss Aiba, wouldn't it be easier to read if you were actually closer to your book?
[ He knew it. He knew the ghostly woman was some sort of fake. ]

[...this was going to happen sooner or later with someone, Aiba figured. Eight days. She lasted eight days before someone caught a glimpse of her true form. A couple others had come quite close to seeing her, but she had managed to avoid that scenario. Now it was unmistakable someone had seen her. Damn it...
Her projected form stretches an arm in that direction, just enough to cover her from sight, but at least she doesn't try to run away, resigned]
...could you pretend not to have seen me? I have been trying to hide my physical self.
[Although it has been getting progressively more difficult. People finding out she's not human and is just an illusion of sorts is pretty much a guarantee, and she knows it]

Not to worry, I won't tell a soul. Now, do you mind turning that ghost light off for a bit? It's actually hard on me ol' eyes, you see.
[ Everything is blurry enough to him, the distorted hologram beaming into his peepers does not help. ]

Fine. Just because at this point it's pointless. But thanks for accepting to keep quiet about it. This was the best case scenario I could imagine.
[The worst case scenario being that she would be attacked here and now, really]

There you go.
[ He'll take the chair her ghost was sitting in, folding his arms on the table- Oh, but first he moves the book a little and fixes his sleeves so Aiba can read and have a potential hiding spot if she needs it. Then he settles down. ]
I don't think I've seen any creature able to hide itself with such drastic illusions. You're fortunate to still have that power, smarter still to use it. [ In this predicament, anyhow. It would be hard for someone to kill a shadow. ]

[Aiba shakes her head]
Besides, my skills are of more use if something does happen -- I intend to assist everybody if a murder does occur.
