Good morning, New Rapture. A new day is dawning.

It's now been a week since you were all captured. Perhaps you've already settled in. Perhaps you're already confident that you'll make it out of New Rapture alive. How serious about this could Mayor Fontaine possibly be, really?

While there still may not be much to do in your little hotel bubble, you've at least been granted a little more now - some kind of mysterious room and a sizeable library of all things. And in all the places you've looked so far, you've found valuable information, and even learned some of the story of New Rapture along the way.

Make sure to keep talking to the others! You want to keep those regain coins flowing, don't you?

[When they're brought into the room and Fontaine does his spiel, he looks pretty annoyed but not... surprised, before he gets to the actual reveal.]

...I expected something like this, I suppose, but I wonder...

[And of course, it goes bad for everyone! Cool. It's time to step up and be a cool leader guy and--wait. wait why is this sweet baby lizard there... okay. Try not to be. Try not to be upset. He's good at that. Well okay he's upset but he's pretending not to be upset.]

...For all we know, this could be some trick. We should not act rashly.

[Once Tommy's hostage confirms they're there on the other side, Aiba appears only to Gaius. She hadn't wanted to say it, for obvious reasons, but after this...well, the cat is out of the bag:]

Even if that had been a video created to deceive us, the Mayor has proved to be able to bring people and objects from our homes. [What with themselves, the vending machine contents, and the books from the library] Him fulfilling his threat would be plausible.

[Aiba hadn't wanted to say anything because that would strengthen the Mayor's threat, but now that this had been shown...yeah, no point in keeping quiet. True, Kim's intervention could still be fake, but it does help prove those people really may be there]
