Week 2
Good morning, New Rapture. A new day is dawning.
It's now been a week since you were all captured. Perhaps you've already settled in. Perhaps you're already confident that you'll make it out of New Rapture alive. How serious about this could Mayor Fontaine possibly be, really?
While there still may not be much to do in your little hotel bubble, you've at least been granted a little more now - some kind of mysterious room and a sizeable library of all things. And in all the places you've looked so far, you've found valuable information, and even learned some of the story of New Rapture along the way.
Make sure to keep talking to the others! You want to keep those regain coins flowing, don't you?

[Leafeon seems to nod his head in response! He definitely seems pleased that he's being understood; Adaman for his part seems to chuckle brightly, nodding his own head.]
Aha, I am not surprised! Leafeon has lived around us humans for almost as long as I've been alive, all be told; he's quite an intelligent Pokémon, and he's learned well from all of us in the Diamond Clan. Why, I wouldn't be surprised if he could learn to speak with us outright, if given the time!

He serves as my partner in battle! [...Adaman says, like this isn't slightly crazy--] You see, Hisui can prove to be quite a dangerous place; many Pokemon can prove quite hostile to us, when we are out gathering supplies and food and the like to provide for the village. We people cannot defend ourselves against some of their stronger number, and many of them can prove quite territorial...
But that is where our partners come in! There are some Pokémon that have lived alongside our clans and offered us their protection for generations--it is their choice who they elect to ally with, but we serve to assist in commanding them in battle, in patching up their injuries and giving them a safe place to rest and raise their young that they may not have in the wild.
It is a partnership, of sorts; one that my clan has been happy to maintain for generations, to ensure their protection and hours. Leafeon is my strongest ally, and he's quite the capable Pokémon in battle! Why, I wager he could take on an Onix twice the size of this entire room and fell it in less than a minute!
