Good morning, New Rapture. A new day is dawning.

It's now been a week since you were all captured. Perhaps you've already settled in. Perhaps you're already confident that you'll make it out of New Rapture alive. How serious about this could Mayor Fontaine possibly be, really?

While there still may not be much to do in your little hotel bubble, you've at least been granted a little more now - some kind of mysterious room and a sizeable library of all things. And in all the places you've looked so far, you've found valuable information, and even learned some of the story of New Rapture along the way.

Make sure to keep talking to the others! You want to keep those regain coins flowing, don't you?

Is this another case of “more dangerous than they look”? ‘Cause Lady Zinda already warned me about another one of them, and let me tell you, it’s not making me any less anxious to get in there.

No — no, you should definitely not go in there to rescue your girlfriend or whoever! He is actually a very cool guy once someone is there to translate, but the thing is... if this murder configuration starts happening, he may not hurt anyone in his group, but if you show up there he is [ and his voice is like steadily going down in volume as he says this, in large part due to jonathan being here ] maybe gonna rip your throat open and lay waste to all your organs.

[Obi blinks, then frowns.]

Wait, why me? Why’s it any different if I get in there? If he’s dangerous, he’s dangerous, right?

[ He's outright whispering now, casting an occasional glance at Jonathan's bedraggled ass so as to make sure they aren't been listened in on. ]

Yesssss, in theory that is true — but we are in a separate murder thing! So maybe eating you isn't gonna start a trial, and then obviously he's gonna eat you!

Oh. Ohhhhh!

[WHOA. UH.

Thankfully, Obi catches all these glances at Jonathan before he can exclaim at the top of his lungs, “HE EATS PEOPLE?!” Instead, he glances at Jonathan, too, then screens his mouth with one hand, leans in, and whispers urgently:]

He eats people?!

[Jonathan, who had similarly had several alarms go off in his head hearing that, looks at Obi in horror.]

S-shouldn't that give us more reason to go in there? Dear God, I don't want my Mina stuck in a room with someone that could eat her!

I’m kinda with His Honor on this one!

Fucking— Obi, why did you not lower your voice?! Now see what has happened!

I was whispering at the same volume as you!

You should have whispered softer, then!

[He does look a tad panicked thinking about Mina in the same room as a cannibal, though.

You see how sweaty he looks? It has already started.

I'll piggyback him back to the suites if it looks like he really will.

[Ugh, he's just going to try to force himself to calm himself down so they don't have to carry him. Especially since he's still sopping wet so he'd either be passed out in his room like that or they would have to consider undressing him and frankly

I-I'll be fine. I don't believe I'm prone to fainting so there's no need to worry about me.
