Week 2
Good morning, New Rapture. A new day is dawning.
It's now been a week since you were all captured. Perhaps you've already settled in. Perhaps you're already confident that you'll make it out of New Rapture alive. How serious about this could Mayor Fontaine possibly be, really?
While there still may not be much to do in your little hotel bubble, you've at least been granted a little more now - some kind of mysterious room and a sizeable library of all things. And in all the places you've looked so far, you've found valuable information, and even learned some of the story of New Rapture along the way.
Make sure to keep talking to the others! You want to keep those regain coins flowing, don't you?

[ ooc: Welcome to the second week of Unknown Seas Round 3! Please make sure to mark any investigation toplevels accordingly, and you can reach either Mayor Fontaine or Eleanor for conversations! ]

[Brett's been in here a fair amount too, more than enough time to observe who's left and gone about their business and who...hasn't. He left maybe twenty or thirty minutes ago, but he's back now, with a plate of salad and some water.]
Try and stay hydrated, at least.

A small laugh leaves him- how ironic that someone's telling the fish to stay hydrated. Still, he does crack open the bottle to drink some of it. ]
...Thanks.

Brett smiles, then turns to settle down in a chair at the table. He's here to stay, too, at least for a little bit.]
...your brother, huh?
no subject
Mmhm- that's Jade. We've hardly been separated for this long before. Well, I guess it's been less time for him, but yeah.
[ What he can assume as only a few hours for Jade in a cell has been a week and some change for Floyd. Jade is still hanging in there pretty well, smiling and making small talk with the people inside the cell as if it wasn't a huge deal. ]

[The timeline thing, that is. Brett hadn't really considered it that way before.]
I have a younger sister. Riley. She lives a few hours away, now, I haven't seen her in a few months.

[ He nods. ]
What's she do for a living?
no subject
[There doesn't seem to be any hard feelings around that, though. Maybe some family joke.]
no subject
Sounds like she'd fit in at Ignihyde, then. There's a lot of computery types in that dorm back at school. That makes two of us though!!! I don't like big complicated math stuff- musicology and art class are my big faves.

Yeah. I was sort of a theatre kid, back in high school. Not much of an ear for music, though.
[flashforward to him performing an entire musical number mid-trial]
no subject
Ha, nice. I never really did theatre- too much to memorize, I think. Once in a while I play the drums, though!! I used to a bunch in middle school- me, Jade and Azul had a small band.

[Brett didn't really keep any friend groups that long as a kid, though not entirely through his own fault. Moving will do that.]
