Good morning, New Rapture. A new day is dawning.

It's now been a week since you were all captured. Perhaps you've already settled in. Perhaps you're already confident that you'll make it out of New Rapture alive. How serious about this could Mayor Fontaine possibly be, really?

While there still may not be much to do in your little hotel bubble, you've at least been granted a little more now - some kind of mysterious room and a sizeable library of all things. And in all the places you've looked so far, you've found valuable information, and even learned some of the story of New Rapture along the way.

Make sure to keep talking to the others! You want to keep those regain coins flowing, don't you?

Oh, what? [ There's the light tone of laughter in his voice. ] You should've just asked me! He's incredibly friendly, and curious, so as long as you're gentle, he should take right to you.

Then I'd be happy to become his friend as well!

[ they may be stuck in a murder city at the bottom of the sea, but at least she gets to pet a cat!! ]

[ You gotta find the silver linings when they come to you, you know? ]

He's pretty easygoing...but I'd start up on his head. You wanna let him sniff you first, but after that just go down his spine— ah, but not the tail. He'll probably think you're playin' and start swatting at you.

[ She waits very patiently until the perfect boy has had his food before tentatively holding out a hand for Rain to sniff. ]

Hello, there. You wouldn't mind being my friend too, would you?

[ Hodaka holds back a smile as Rain turns his attention to Mielle. Oh, hello there. A hand...

As assured, he stretches out and sniffs her fingers—and then immediately presses his tiny head to her hand with a mew. ]

Oh...! [ She really, honestly looks like she might just pop from sheer delight. ] What a sweet little thing you are! Should I take that as a "yes"?

[ Time to very carefully apply some pets. How is a cat this small allowed to be real. ]

[ Rain's little bell jingles as he rubs his head against Mielle's hand. Truly it is a good day to be her. ]
