Good morning, New Rapture. A new day is dawning.

It's now been a week since you were all captured. Perhaps you've already settled in. Perhaps you're already confident that you'll make it out of New Rapture alive. How serious about this could Mayor Fontaine possibly be, really?

While there still may not be much to do in your little hotel bubble, you've at least been granted a little more now - some kind of mysterious room and a sizeable library of all things. And in all the places you've looked so far, you've found valuable information, and even learned some of the story of New Rapture along the way.

Make sure to keep talking to the others! You want to keep those regain coins flowing, don't you?

[On Dandy's defense, most people would react like he did, she's sure. It confirms to her that it really was the right decision to keep her real form away from sight for as long as she could]

The man with one single eye. There's a 50% he's currently ogling one of the other hostages.

[Hah, nah, Date isn't doing that. Aiba doesn't have any faith he wouldn't later, though. Aiba is absolutely devoted to Date, but that doesn't stop her from criticizing him whenever the chance arises]

[Dread shoots through him, branching this way and that through Dandy's leanly muscular body, stiffening his shoulders and fingertips.]

[Scarlet's in there, freshly free of her shitty stalker ex-boyfriend, Bambi-eyed and looking for love. Well, the guy's got one eyeball! Maybe he's ugly.]

Was the other eye your big googly one? Or is he just a natural-born cyclops.

[Dandy has no right to be jealous.

Scarlet and himself had shared one kiss in the heat of a dangerous moment, and that was to get a very specific point across. It didn't matter that they liked the same movies, that she looked prettier with her hair down, or that...

When he left her there, standing in a pile of demolished bricks, Dandy had experienced a sour mood so foul, it almost rendered him immovable.

I still don't understand why I was brought here instead of him. The Mayor has shown to not be interested in me as technology. You would think Date would be the one captured, not me.

[Dandy, unfortunately, makes his own persnickety assumptions right off the bat... And has no trouble saying so.]

Sounds like whatever you two are sharin' is pretty intimate.

Kaname Date is the sort of man who would forget an investigation to go to Atami to become a carnival worker, with a receptionist he got inexplicably attracted to all of a sudden. That is not how a reliable person behaves, is it?

Hah, but yeah, even though Aiba is capable of praising Date -- and did with someone already -- this time she focuses on his bad traits as a way to really try to divert attention away from what she may or may not feel]

Any hypothetical relief I may feel is diminished by him begging me to find a way to go around that blocking, just so you know. I am his personal phone and portable computer.
