Good morning, New Rapture. A new day is dawning.

It's now been a week since you were all captured. Perhaps you've already settled in. Perhaps you're already confident that you'll make it out of New Rapture alive. How serious about this could Mayor Fontaine possibly be, really?

While there still may not be much to do in your little hotel bubble, you've at least been granted a little more now - some kind of mysterious room and a sizeable library of all things. And in all the places you've looked so far, you've found valuable information, and even learned some of the story of New Rapture along the way.

Make sure to keep talking to the others! You want to keep those regain coins flowing, don't you?

Oh, I was just here to read... I've been making a habit of finishing a chapter or two of my books in here. It's not quite the same as being able to sit outside, of course, but...

[ She trails off, and then shakes her head. ]

Well, we're all making do, as it stands. It wasn't my intent to disturb you. [ ... she should leave it there, but she can't help but give in to her curiosity and follows that with: ] If it isn't rude for me to ask... when you speak of an "daily offering", what is it you're referring to?

[Ah...Adaman can't help but chuckle a bit at her reaction, but it's done warmly as he raises a hand in the air a bit, more to try and stop her-]

Worry not; you have done no such thing. This space is yours to use just as much as it is mine, is it not?

[The question gets Adaman to perk a little bit, though, nodding his head.]

Ah--it is an offering to Almighty Sinnoh, the deity my clan and I worship, and the majestic, almighty ruler of time! [...BOY'S ENTHUSIASTIC.] I have been praying for our continued success and safety, you see. It is my hope that we may be able to get through this without harm, and for Almighty Sinnoh to guide us towards a path out of this place!

[ That... wasn't quite the response she was expecting! Really, she's not entirely sure what she was expecting to hear - she knows there are women in her country who will devote their whole beings to God and she's sat through her share of sermons attended with her family, but she's never met someone who's such an enthusiastic believer before. ]

What a powerful deity to rule over something like time... it's hard to imagine.

[ A deity hopefully powerful enough to actually make some headway towards saving them. Or uh, maybe not, given that I am writing this tag with Sunday hindsight. ]

Have you had any luck in being able to speak with them?

[ That's how prayer works, right? You're just buzzing God on the telephone. ]

[There's a pause as Adaman considers that. It's not Mielle's fault; no, it's not her fault that he's never actually seen the true Almighty Sinnoh. Irida has the claim to her vision in her dreams, but he, he doesn't, and it hits him strange but--]

Not quite; Almighty Sinnoh never speaks in to us in a direct manner. It would simply be far too taxing of it to do so, and we would not want to waste their time expecting such an answer!

But they do answer in subtler manners; be it strokes of luck, or protection through the night. Why, after I prayed in here, I was able to find that small casette tape that granted us a bit of context to what this place was utilized for before! I would like to think of that as Almighty Sinnoh granting us a boon, however small.
