Alright, that oughta do it. Pack up the evidence and head to the bathyspheres, same as last week.

[ There's yet again a line of spherical submersibles back there, ready to take off as the citizens of New Rapture climb aboard one or two at a time. And one at a time the bathyspheres descend into the abyss below New Rapture, deeper and deeper, once again to the dome on the seafloor, lit all around by bio-luminescent... slugs, of some kind? They're a little closer today.

The ring of podiums still sits in the center, just like last week. Two more podiums are going to stand empty. Two more dead. By the end of the day, best case scenario? It'll be three.

Maybe no one was wearing it at all - they could've just gone to the department store and gotten it.

I think it must've been the second one. Why go through all of that if there wasn't an underlying reason? And we did eliminate people from suspicion based on it - we eliminated people based on height last time, too.

If they knew we'd realize someone was hurt because of the other evidence...maybe they decided to lean into that and point it in a different direction.

So then... that flips it around, doesn't it?

The list of people we ruled out before is now the closest we have to a list of suspects.

Can we rule out that he didn't pull that shit all on his own? Like, jam a bunch of meds down his throat, scarf 'em down, and see if it'd work. Not enough to kill himself, but just enough to see how the crusty cookie crumbles.

Even better, if he was plannin' on trying anything, we'd find him and he'd be off the suspect list for sure.
