let's consider a change of scenery [group vandalism]
[On Wednesday morning, everyone will find a note outside their suite door. If you can get past Misfire’s dodgy handwriting, it reads:]
Hey LOSERS!!!
Get down to miracle mile 2DAY, 12PM, for some
VANDALISM
[Note: ‘vandalism’ is written with one of those ‘cool S’s.]
kit will be provided BUT if you have a water gun from the machine bring it!!!
P.S no snitches allowed
JK you can come n be target practice ;)
[At the appointed time, Misfire can be found standing triumphantly in the street. Beside him is a pile of spray cans, brushes, and buckets of paint; by the looks of it, he emptied the whole store. He’s wearing the dress Forrest made him too, and using the pocket space to carry even more stuff on him.
When enough people have gathered, he’ll address them:]
Alright, here’s the deal: it’s come to my attention that some of you have missed out some crucial formative experiences, or otherwise haven’t known the joys of anti-social behavior. And, since writing stuff on walls has been a historical expression of dissent, I think there’s no better time or place to fix that.
[Grinning, he picks up something out of his pile - a water gun filled with purple paint.]
Frankie didn’t outlaw vandalism, so let’s make him realize that egregious oversight. In technical terms - go nuts.

[There's Aiba! She's flying!
Really, she's flying. She has a helicopter rotor on the top of her head, and there she is, holding a spray paint can while hovering a few feet off the ground]
It's been a while since I got to do anything like this. This may come across as a surprise, but I think there's something fun in some casual destruction.
[Yeah, in Somnia it's pretty common for Aiba to be asked to hit, kick, and/or destroy all kinds of objects...and people. She follows the object destruction commands without any complaint, the people punching gets a cautious remark from her but almost every time she does it, and with surprising enthusiasm.
Aiba shakes the spray paint can with enthusiasm, stops, and just...stares at the wall]
Too bad I can't use this.
[The spray can, she means]

[ He yells from his mural of peoples. ]

[Give her a moment to leave the spray can with the others and return with a paintbrush dipped in purple paint. Having given the wall a gooooood look, she slowly drags the paintbrush into a vertical line]
Not that I know what to paint. It may be hard to believe given my skill at many other things, but me painting a large work might be impossible.
[Aiba may be really well made, but her size makes some things pretty difficult, yup. Painting large stuff is one of those things]

[ Much more feasible for the smol. ]

Even though it's the most realistic action I could take I refuse! I will push the boundaries and succeed at this!
[Anything for gratuitous vandalism!]

[ He'll leave you to it, smol friend! Now what sort of chaos shall you create with that brush of yours? ]

By the time Undertaker returns, he'll find Aiba has written graffiti in Japanese characters. It's far easier to write kanji with a brush than it is to write rounded letters with it, she figured out.
'NEW RAPTURE CITY IS A TERRIBLE PLACE TO LIVE'
...she tried]

Well, lookie here! You've managed something.

[Not really, it just is a function for easier movement, really. I found out she has this yesterday while playing the second AI: Somnium Files game, hah]

[He looks up at her, then down at the gathered art supplies.]
Could you use one of the smaller paintbrushes?

That's what dreams are for. If you could remember them more often, you would realize how many times you dream with flight.
[Especially if you have shown any interest in it before. It happens!]
I probably should. What could I paint, though...?
[She never had any artistic skill nor much interest in it, but at the same time she also does want to commit some vandalism. Hell yeah, destruction]
no subject
[No worries, Brett's still quite determined not to try out any of those things!]
You can paint anything you want! It's vandalism, it doesn't have to be anything really.

[Aiba, you can't just ask 'abstract or grunge', it's graffitti, not the Sistine Chapel]
no subject
[WHY ARE THOSE THE TWO OPTIONS]
I guess abstract? I'm not sure I can pull off grunge.
no subject
[She's totally going to make a mess, point at it, say 'it's abstract' and then avoid all questions about what exactly it represents, haha]
no subject
[Brett's enough of an artist, if not a visual one, to figure that's not really fair...but also who cares really, anything is art.]

[WOW, COOL... SCRUNGLY ROBOT....]
no subject
I'm a box full of surprises.
[Aiba sounds so proud about her many functions, haha]
no subject
[excited dog vibes...!]
I know several people back home who would find you truly impressive. Discounting myself, of course.
[at least, he presumes Ricon and Nero would love the scrungly. Cid too probably.]
no subject
[Preen more, Aiba, why don't you, hah]
I would offer you blueprints of my workings...if your world has the capacity to create a machine such as myself.
[Apparently she's feeling generous, yup]

[Oh yeah, definitely in a good mood. Casual destruction must really be something that makes her giddy, haha]

I cannot tell if Nero would be fond of your personality or if he would be more likely to lock horns with you…
