Good morning, New Rapture. A new day is dawning.

Another week at the bottom of the sea. You may start to mark the passage of time by the increasing number of people you seem to be bleeding each week - look how few of you there are now. Nearly half your number gone, and for what? The shadowy machinations of some madman? You've met some others, but they seem unable or unwilling to solve this problem for you. Time marches onwards.

In the abyss, New Rapture starts to wake. It's small things, for now - the lights of a building here and there, the flicker of a neon sign for some small business. The restoration of this city continues.

Speaking of this city, there's a new branch of your little slice of it to explore. It's certainly the most picturesque of the branches you've seen.

There's more to see and do, citizens of New Rapture. And hey, there's coins to get, too.

[ Somehow, Nandor has managed to absolutely miss the penguin that has been following Brett around like a baby duck for days now! How has he done this? Just kidding, no explanations necessary, it's Nandor and sometimes these things just happen.

Point being, he's checking out the aquarium for the first time, he walks in on Blake being tossed a fish, and he exclaims: ]

We have real Scoots in here?!

[inaclearing]

What?

[Asks Brett, to whom it has not occurred that Nandor could have missed this, and who also doesn't know what Scoots is.]

Ah, yes, that was Joy I told and not you. This is what I have been calling the little stuffed birds from the vending machine ever since Misfire received one, these many weeks ago.

... I have since been informed that it is actually pronounced "Scott."

[inaclearing]

Oh! Uh, yeah, this is Blake. I got him out of the machine last week. I...assume that he was Jason's, and his name is Blake Bortles.

[He's still wearing his Blake Bortles jersey, so. Reasonable assumption!]

Oh, makes sense. [ He observes Blake downing fish for a bit longer, then says: ] A magnificent beast. Really very faithful to the stuffed animal.

[Brett watches Blake swallow a fish whole like a horrible creature.]

I have no idea how Jason could've even done this.

... I mean, it seems like he knows what to do. Unless you meant the sport jersey, which does seem like it would be quite involved.

[inaclearing]

Not this - well, maybe the jersey. He won't let me take it off him, though. [...] No, I mean I have no idea where he could've gotten a penguin from in the first place. They're not pets.

And Florida is not close to Antarctica, [ he says, solemnly, as if it needs saying. ] I see your point. Perhaps he robbed a zoo?

I guess he must have. [That seems like a Jason thing!] Surprised he's okay, though, it's hot in Florida.

Oh, is it? I have never been, personally, I just know it is the part of America that looks like a penis. Did not even realize it was a separate dimension until Joy said as much.

I thought so. [ He seems genuinely elated to have been correct about this. ] It is hard to be certain, with all these states. What is it now, 47...?

Uh - I don't know? I think they only colonized Hawaii in the fifties or something.
