Good morning, New Rapture. A new day is dawning.

Another week at the bottom of the sea. You may start to mark the passage of time by the increasing number of people you seem to be bleeding each week - look how few of you there are now. Nearly half your number gone, and for what? The shadowy machinations of some madman? You've met some others, but they seem unable or unwilling to solve this problem for you. Time marches onwards.

In the abyss, New Rapture starts to wake. It's small things, for now - the lights of a building here and there, the flicker of a neon sign for some small business. The restoration of this city continues.

Speaking of this city, there's a new branch of your little slice of it to explore. It's certainly the most picturesque of the branches you've seen.

There's more to see and do, citizens of New Rapture. And hey, there's coins to get, too.

[ No, this was opened from the outside... it's also not a cage for an eeveelution! From the label, it contained a Zorua. There's even a picture, look how cute this little guy was! ]

[ That seems likely! There's also a note on the ground that was attached to Zorua's cage: She likes to make herself look like other things, but we promise it's her in there! She's a tricky one. - Roilin' Pete ]

I'm going to go ahead and guess that there's no indication of what happened after our friends escaped or were liberated from their cages?]

And below that graffiti is an audio log! ]

[Oh boy!! Is this going to be more information on a Founder?? Well anyway, before he heads off to go listen to this - anything else noteworthy here in the pet shop?]

The first thing of note about the audio log is the clamor in the background - like there's a decent group of very angry people. The sound of shattering glass gives an indication of about when this happened.

The Helios Suites concierge, actually, speaks up! ]

That's it, get them out of here! If Fontaine's going to fire us, the ones who built his city? We're taking it with us! Happy fucking new year, you backstabbing bastard! We're gonna make sure you and your Founders fucking ROT. And that your little private reserve of animals here gets-

[ He is interrupted, very suddenly, by a gunshot. ]

Oh shit, it's Sitwell-

[ Another gunshot. A male voice - Sitwell, apparently - speaks up. Strained, but at least a little reserved. ]

I am having a horrible night! And you! Are not helping!

[ More gunshots - all from the same gun. ]

Fun fact: You're not on the list of people I get in trouble for killing! Unless there's a Founder in here I should know about? No?

[ One last gunshot. Silence. Footsteps across broken glass, and the sound of someone picking up the audio recorder. ]

And now I have to get all these fucking Pokemon out of here. [ An incredibly long-suffering sigh. ] Jasper Sitwell, signing the fuck off. [ And then, as if an afterthought. ] Hail Hydra. Whatever.

It's not labelled - in fact, this looks like it was yanked out of the recorder and tossed aside, honestly. It's a little beat up. ]
