Another Saturday gone and just like that you wake on Sunday, down five of your number. The largest dent taken out of you at once so far - it's surely noticeable, the head count being cut by a third. Almost enough to make you wonder how many of you will even be left by the next motive or two. Surely this isn't a sustainable rate for body counts to increase... right?

There's a new and, it looks like, final wing of the building to explore, bringing everything full circle. Maybe you'll get some more answers to some of the questions and mysteries of this place there - or at least, you can certainly hope for them. Time to turn your investigative eyes towards one last batch of rooms, who knows what you might find?

Angel remains around at night, her appearances much more common now that... well, she's certainly seen a downtick in necessary surveillance work, hasn't she? The app giving you a line to The Professor remains open, and well... whatever's going on with that ouija in the library continues to happen! You're not suffering from a shortage of leads, at least, even as things get more bizarre.

Something's going to have to give here, eventually. Right?

[Rather than signs today, it seems he got the message from Mira - and as such he's doing a whole lot of loitering today, just kind of hanging out in the vicinity of Area A after the Professor's everything and taking people aside for the sake of slipping them a note.

Basic gist is simple: meeting's moved, we're all going to be hanging out in the girl's restroom today. Professor's probably going to find that weird so don't be surprised if he sends someone to crash it eventually but we need to get what we can done in whatever span of time we have. Go find people, show them in ways that are hard for the cameras to pick up, but that's where we're going to be.

So. That's where we're ending up, even if it's weird as hell for four of us to be in here and apparently we're all congregating at once, but this is apparently what we're doing now.]

As excited as I'm sure everyone is about the motive announcement, we need to focus. What have we found lately?

I finally found the yellow key for this box. [Nira holds out the box, and opens it up to reveal a lens of some sort.] Any of you found something this could go with?

Oh. Wait.

[He scampers out of the bathroom for Ema's room and returns with a telescope.]

Hmm...it could be. [She'll size it up. Does it look like the lens will fit?]

[ As she said in her note, she's here with the spirit board! ... And an assembled nightstand, huh. We don't wanna put the board on the bathroom floor, after all. But she doesn't look thrilled at all; she actually seems pretty jumpy and overly wary but that's probably fine. ]

Whoever's behind the red text--they know my name, so I assume it's the same for everyone else.

[ Which is.... a little unnerving but. She sets up the table and board, then moves away. She's probably not the best person to ask questions right now, on account of not being able to focus well. ]

Ouija Time

[Nira walks up and places a hand on the planchette.]

Hey...how many others are with you now? [Just making sure everyone made it over okay, considering the weird circumstances.]

[ It takes a moment, but the planchette does whir into action. ]

So they're definitely watching us. [She's...not sure how to feel about that but if they're really trying to help she can live with it. While she wants to be close to Mira as she can be, she's staying a respectful few feet away with her arms securely crossed over her chest and her hands balled into fists.

She can't risk another accidental fireball (or worse) in here.]

[ Oh no, Zaza... ]

They are, yes. They know about these meetings, too.

[Eventually, in a quiet undertone, Therion leans over and asks:]

[ She lets out a breath, and just as quietly-- ]

Things are a little... intense, with what the Professor's done. I don't like being able to feel so much.

[ whenever you do collectively decide to Do The Luigi, it starts moving with force. It seems excited! Or maybe angry. ]

Why are you trying to help us, exactly? I know better than to assume it's for no reason.

Those symbols--the black hexagon on some of the food in the kitchen, and the circle with the arch inside it.... Do you know what those mean?

[ Once the other questions die down a little, the ghost friend makes a general statement. ]

[ Vincent will be hanging nearby the door this time, keeping an eye to see if someone unwanted came on by. But he also had something to say more than a few words this time. ]

I went to that area full of statues...in the island there looked to be some blankets and pillows put out, with dust on them. Along with that I found some candy, and a small book of fairy tales that've been well-read.

There was something also carved in one of the pedestals. Three tally marks, with a message stating 'We miss you'. This pedestal also seemed to have been touched up recently, as if in a hurry, and there looked at one point to be other objects on the floor but since they're gone and I couldn't tell what they were, there's nothing too significant there.

I got a copy of the rules Angel has to follow. From the bowling alley.

[ She'll pass it around so others can see, but she's going to keep talking. ]

What I find interesting is the first rule — that she can't discuss Subjects Alpha through Delta. I know we've been thinking that there were two groups before us, one with Greek letters and one with serial numbers, but between this and that note about Delta being used to construct something... Are were sure that the first set wasn't just those three?

...It's entirely possible that could be the case.

...Interesting that Rule H comes after the "the Professor can add whatever rules he wants" rule. Guess she must have refused at first after all.

[He frowns at the list for a while.]

Think it means anything that all the rules we've found use different systems of numbering? I didn't even notice with the Failsafe's rules, but this one's all letters instead of numbers.

...I got the door behind the crime exhibit open. It used to be a chemistry lab, though it looks like someone made it into their personal darkroom at some point. There were pictures there of a girl that I don't recognize, though in one of the pictures she's with another girl that we definitely do recognize. She appears to be from an earlier iteration of the experiment; the living area we just got unlocked was apparently opened a lot earlier for them, and it was before the...incident with the wall occurred, seeing as those plates aren't there in the pictures.

[He has the...selfies? With him; one involves the girl from the execution, one involves the intact living area, one involves...]

I assume that we were right about the bedrooms being designed to isolate us a bit more; apparently in whatever version of things this girl was going through, they had to stay together, four to a room.

As for the intact living area, I also found what probably happened there - someone was constructing explosives in the chem lab itself. Seeing as all the equipment to make those explosives was still out, I assume they went and set it off immediately. The darkroom portion was sectioned off with a blanket, and it looked like things weren't properly put away in there; these pictures were also just left out like they were drying. I assume what happened is whoever made the explosives didn't realize this girl was in the room, set the bomb off in the living area and things got unfortunate for everyone.

There's another area behind the lab, through an airlock of some sort. The airlock itself is broken, so it's not going to save anybody from any horrible biohazard outbreaks that may happen to occur in here, but that's not much of a concern with what's behind the airlock itself. It was some weird diorama room, with holographic figures in different locations. One showed them looking over a map, with major cities marked with words like "power cell" or "additional blueprints." There was a location marked in the Atlantic with no label, and one in the Pacific noting that it's a facility site.

One involved the Professor by himself at a desk, drafting notes and rules. It mentioned that "for the second time around, we need someone on-site to cut aggression", and "we can't have a repeat of hostage motive week", which is when I assume the wall got blown up in an attempt to take out everyone.

The last thing in there involved the Professor talking to some woman. I spent a lot of time in there walking around them like an idiot so I could transcribe what they were talking about. You're welcome.

...So, like I was saying. Subjects Alpha through Delta weren't brought in as part of an experiment, but as a way to help build one. Maybe they have some kind of ability that makes the more outlandish bits possible...?
